Zach Snyder Set for Star Wars Reboot!
Jaw-dropping news hit the convention floors at this year's Showest as attendees of the Lucasfilm panel witnessed Watchmen director, Zack Snyder and George Lucas himself announce to the world that Snyder has been tapped to reboot the Star Wars franchise. Snyder is apparently writing and directing a new version of the seminal George Lucas opus, with plans to "re-imagine" Lucas's original fan-beloved trilogy, with episodes 4, 5 and 6 of the franchise.
"To be honest, Zack wasn't always my...
Will there be a familiar face in George Lucas' Star Wars TV show?
New Zealand actor Jay Laga'aia is talking to George Lucas about a role in a live-action Star Wars television series next year, the New Zealand-based newspaper The Dominion Post reported.
Lucas had previously cast Laga'aia as Captain Gregar Typho, Amidala's head of sercurity, in Star Wars: Episode II—Attack of the Clones and Star Wars: Episode III—Revenge of the Sith. It's unclear if he's in talks to reprise the role or to play a different one.
'Sherlock Holmes' Trailer At Showest: \"Wacky,\" Mindless And As If Zack Snyder Made It?
Apparently The Accents Are Terrible TooIs "Sherlock Holmes" going to be Zack Snyder's version of the famous detective only done by a Brit (Guy Ritchie) who will likely be tied and feathered by the entire U.K. for American-izing Sherlock and Watson by infusing it slo-mo action and Laurel and Hardy-esque wacky buffoonery? By the sounds of it, yes.Twitter has lit up with reports from the first "Sherlock Holmes" trailer shown just minutes ago at ShowWest in Vegas and a lot of the writers seem...

Thanks, 'Watchmen': Warner Bros. To Steer Clear of R-Rated Superheroes
In reality, this move is not terribly shocking.

Sneak Peek at the long awaited ‘Watchmen’ film
Only a select few members of the press were allowed to preview this masterpiece with director Zack Snyder on Wednesday. The film is based on Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons’ award-winning graphic novel of the same name about a group of subversive superheroes in hiding. The film was originally going to be set in modern times, but Snyder persuaded them to set the film in its proper era of 1985, which is when the graphic novel which the film is based on was set in.

Zack Snyder's 'Sucker Punch': Emily Browning takes over lead role
Emily Browning ( The Uninvited ) will replace Amanda Seyfried in Zack Snyder's action fantasy Sucker Punch
for Warner Bros. The Australian-born Browning is probably best known for her role as Violet in 2004's Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events . Seyfried had received the offer and was very interested in the starring role as an insane asylum inmate who loses herself in a fantasy world where she dreams about escaping with her fellow inmates. Is Warner Brothers Really Giving Zack Snyder Another $100 Million?
We have to wonder if Warner Brothers is having a bit of buyers remorse on Sucker Punch , the next film from “visionary director” Zack Snyder. Even before Watchmen was released, it seemed like a dicey proposition for the studio to get behind: an R-rated, $100 million, 1950s-set action film that Mr. Snyder has described as “ Alice in Wonderland with machine guns.” Alrighty, then! About the only thing Sucker Punch had going for it was the cast, a group of up-and-coming actresses...

Zack Snyder's 'Sucker Punch' Gets a New Lead
Losing your lead actress might daunt some directors, but not Zack Snyder. Snyder doesn't sleep, he waits -- and he already has a replacement for Amanda Seyfried. Entertainment Weekly reports that Emily Browning will take on the role of Baby Doll in Snyder's upcoming Sucker Punch. You probably best remember the Australian-born Browning as the young Angelina Jolie lookalike in A Series of Unfortunate Events -- and if you're a guy, you've probably been counting the days for her to grow up, which...

Zack Snyder's Sucker Punch Finds a New Babyface
A week ago, Amanda Seyfried was forced to drop out of Suckerpunch, Zack Snyder's follow-up to Watchmen, due to her commitment to HBO's Big Love. Emily Browning (The Uninvited) has taken over the role of Babyface, the focal point of the surreal and violent prison movie.
Browning will join a cast of young Hollywood starlets that includes Vanessa Hudgens, Emma Stone, Evan Rachel Wood, and fellow Aussie Abbie Cornish when filming commences in September.

Zach Snyder wants Watchmen to be Great
I saw about 20 minutes of footage from the “unfilmable” film on Wednesday and I’m very happy to report that Zack Snyder has a found a way to make “Watchmen” truly watchable.
The most pressing question in all of the fanboy universe right now is whether Snyder’s adaptation of the landmark 1986 comics epic “Watchmen” will deliver a classic finally realized or a merely bad idea pursued too long. Alan Moore, who wrote the original graphic novel, has been steadfast
Zack Snyder Talks Gaming
Last week, 300 and Watchmen director Zack Snyder boarded the EA train with plans on bringing three original titles to the third party megapublisher. Although Mr. Snyder has yet to still announce his concepts for the games planned, Spout got a chance to speak with the man himself. Regarding the three projects, Snyder said:
"Yeah, I’ve got some things [concepts for games]… for me, I really want to kind of blow it out to where I can do a video game, and start to develop a movie along the sa
A Prequel/Sequel To 300!
After the huge success of 300, there was much talk of a potential prequel or sequel to the hit phenomenon. Well, it turns out there will be another 300 film and it will be a bit of both.
After the Warner Brothers’ Watchmen presentation on Wednesday, Robert Sanchez from IESB had a chance to throw a few questions at Zack Snyder during the cocktail reception. Simply asked when the second 300 film would be based, Snyder responded saying it would take place

Watchmen Director, Illustrator Dish On Game
We don't know much about the Watchmen game but one thing is clear: unlike some films-turned-games, people seem to actually give a crap about it. Important people, like Zack Snyder, director of the upcoming Watchmen film, and Dave Gibbons, illustrator of the original graphic novel.
Here's what Snyder and Gibbons had to say about the game at a special Watchmen event in New York City:
Snyder: "We had talked about how we were going to make a video game. I call myself a gamer, I don't know if I am. I wa
