Winona Ryder: Winona Ryder is back in the spotlight, opening up to BlackBook magazine. In the interview, Ryder, who rarely gives interviews, talks about her life. Some excerpts:

On giving interviews:
"It's weird. The whole concept of an interview. To hold someone accountable for what they've said or done when they were younger is bizarre. We evolve, we change - at least I hope we do."

On the death of her friend, Heath Ledger:
"What happens to you when you die? Does your energy dissipate? Is there something whole about your soul that keeps going?"

On her relationship with Johnny Depp:
"Things changed for me when I met Johnny. This weird thing happens when you're written about in magazines, where you start to think, This is who I am. This is how I have to be. I felt restricted and pressured into being the way people perceived me. It was hard for me to find my footing. The Johnny thing made me really afraid of the press because, even though it was about him, I was beside him the entire time."

Police say the suspects drafted a list of designer clothes and jewelry. They then hit celebrity blogs and Web sites, looking for...

Winona Ryder Talks About Her Real -Girl, Interrupted'
I find it a little ironic that people expect us to be shocked about the fact that Winona Ryder spent time in a psychiatric Hospital. The only thing I am surprised about is that she isn’t still in there. Though, perhaps she says it best herself when she explains: “What I found so interesting was that if you did something sort of normal-crazy, like taking a bottle of Aspirin, you were locked up for years. Now, they won't hold you if you say you're schizophrenic and you're going to...

Winona Ryder Wasn't Thanked By Angelina Jolie: PHOTO
Winona Ryder told Blackbook that Angelina Jolie never thanked her properly for securing her a plum Oscar-winning role in Girl, Interrupted . During the 1990s Winona Ryder had an odd habit of begging directors to cast more talented actors to star opposite her. She fought for Christian Bale to star in Little Women and she also asked the director of Girl, Interrupted to cast Angelina Jolie . For one reason or another Jolie being a saint was not enough to get her the role. Ryder claims she had to...

She said "I was hurt that people thought that. Everyone assumed I was really jealous because I thought this would be my vehicle. We said from the very beginning that the actress who played Lisa (Jolie`s part) would probably win an Oscar, because it was the big, great, showy part. I fought very hard for her to have that part."...

Winona Ryder is not holding any grudges toward Angelina Jolie -- even though she says the star never thanked her for helping her win an Oscar for their 1999 mental Hospital drama Girl, Interrupted . See Angelina's old modeling photos -- from when she was only 16 years old! "I feel like it won't read in print very nicely if I say that wasn't really her style," Ryder, 38, tells BlackBook magazine's December issue. "But she seems to be a completely different person now." Ryder, who was the film's...

Winona Talks Jolie, Comeback
After two decades in Hollywood, a string of high-profile romances and even higher-profile troubles, Winona Ryder is “the happiest I’ve ever been,” she says. In a wide-ranging interview with BlackBook , Ryder discusses her return to the spotlight in The Private Lives of Pippa Lee , her disdain for the proliferation of Internet culture (she just doesn’t understand the appeal of “Facehook”), and her Girl, Interrupted costar Angelina Jolie.

Winona: Angelina never thanked me
Winona Ryder has claimed Angelina Jolie never thanked her for helping her get her Oscar-winning role in Girl, Interrupted. Winona Ryder - Ryder Lived Rough For New Indie Movie: PHOTO
Winona Ryder 'slummed it' on the set of low-budget movie THE PRIVATE LIVES OF PIPPA LEE and had to rely on co-star Keanu Reeves to get her to a coffee shop. The actress insisted on simple comforts when she signed on for the gritty indie movie - but she had no idea how simple they'd be. She says, "Little did I know I would be in Danbury, Connecticut, without a rental car, living off a highway. "I had to rely on Keanu, who had the car he drives in the film, to get me to Starbucks - that's how...
