A taste of Late Night with Jimmy Fallon
Before Jimmy Fallon is taking over for Conan O’Brien who is taking over for Jay Leno who is taking over the 10p hour on NBC, you can preview his show via webisodes weeknights on NBC.com at 12:35a. I wonder if he will say anything about Jay Leno’s news on his vlog tonight.
Late Night with Jimmy Fallon premieres on NBC, the TV network on May 12th.

Jimmy Fallon Taps the Root(s) of Late Night TV
Even though in-the-end the chances that Saturday Night Live alum Jimmy Fallon will garner as much buzz as Conan O’Brien when he takes over NBC’s Late Night are slim, it’s pretty dope to see the comedian taking such creative strides as this.
The Roots have been tapped as the program’s house band when the change occurs next year Fallon revealed at the end of his first video entry on his new blog (a site designed to offer behind-the-scenes footage throughout the show’
What new Jay Leno show will mean for late night music
In a post about the Roots accepting the house band job on the Jimmy Fallon show yesterday, I briefly mentioned how Leno was getting his own show on NBC, Monday-Friday at 10 p.m. EST. What I didn’t consider, until this post on Idolator, was what implications that development would have on the music business.
Leno’s show, at its current time-slot, is a prime destination for artists looking to promote their albums, and at a prime-time time slot, the impact of a booking on Leno&rs

Friday is Park(ing) Day, when New York City's obscene surfeit of parking spots Will, for one glorious day, finally be put to good use! This year's Park(ing) Day Will see roughly 50 parking spaces—twice the number as last year—transformed into creative little urban oases. The whole thing started back in 2005, when Transportation Alternatives commandeered a parking spot and put out chairs so people could sit and gab. Now it's an international event in 50 cities

This almost certainly means he Will not be nominated for his starring role in Australia (a film that this time last year, remember, was being tipped as the awards frontrunner for 2009). Unflappable ‘Douchebag’ Jimmy Fallon Meets His Critics [Tough Crowds]
Once and future late-night afterthought Jimmy Fallon hit his stride on his second day of videoblogging, treating viewers to an early glimpse of the set of his show and reacting about as gleefully as everybody else to NBC’s retention of Jay Leno — a move essentially relegating him to the role of Rockefeller Center’s afterhours janitor.
