Kat Dennings Enslaves Her ‘Norah’ Curves in Ruffles (Yep, With Ridges!)
Nick liked Norah’s … CURVES.
Bless thee figure on Kat Dennings, but HIPS PLEASE, she should be wearing tight, architecturally sound dresses like those secretaries in Mad Men do.
All the ruffles ‘n’ ridges excitement on Kat makes me feel awkward about Betsey Johnson and all BJ knockoffs therein.

Nick & Norah's Realistic Portrayal Of Teen Sex [Finger On The Pulse]
Prescient soothsayer Richard Lawson over at Gawker was totally right in his irrational hatred of Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist: it is a quarterlifer's false idealization of his or her generic suburban teenhood. However, having seen the movie I need to defend one instance where Nick and Norah becomes a completely realistic portrayal of New Jersey-bred nerds. When Nick and Norah finally consummate their movie-long sexual tension, their hookup is exactly the the way two indie rock obsessed 17-year-olds wo

Kat Dennings And Woody Harrelson Team For Mysterious Superhero Project, ‘Defendor’
You can officially be jealous of Kat Dennings now. Not only does she have an infinite playlist, but now she has a theoretical superhero as a best friend. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Dennings is in talks to join Woody Harrelson and Sandra Oh in “Defendor,” the directorial debut from Peter Stebbings.
Harrelson plays a man who believes he has a secret superhero identity — the Defendor of the title. Dennings will play a teenager he befriends — and who, I imagine, is the only
Movies: ‘Nick and Norah’ an Exercise in Subtlety
NEW YORK (RUSHPRNEWS)10/6/08 - If there’s one thing that defines newly released rom-com “Nick and Norah’s Infinite Playlist,” it isn’t the indie soundtrack, the sight gags or the cosmopolitan streets of New York. In one word, it’s subtlety.

Film Junk Weekend Wrap-Up: David Fincher’s Chef, New Buffy Movie, Leonard Nimoy Star Trek Trailer
It was a pretty laidback week around the movie blogosphere, with our good friends south of the border primarily cooking up turkey dinners rather than cooking up major headlines. The Screen Actor’s Guild strike is still being discussed and drawing ever closer, meanwhile some details leaked out about a new Michael Cera movie that may end up being a must-see movie at Sundance in January. Elsewhere there is talk of a strange new David Fincher movie that will Star Keanu Reeves as a chef, and the repercussi
New Doctor Who Should Be Female, Say Female Scientists [Doctor Who]
In all the furor about the identity of the next Doctor Who, one group has been notably silent — until now. And, unsurprisingly perhaps, Britain's female scientist demographic is hoping that the next Doctor will be... a female scientist.
This latest casting recommendation comes from the UK Resource Centre for Women in Science, Engineering and Technology, who suggest that such a move would help inspire future female scientists:
There is a distinct lack of role models of female scientists in the medi
Dr. Venkman Reviews: Nick and Norah’s Infinite Playlist
You know what? You may not believe me when I say this, but this is one of my favorite movies of the year. Not only one of my favorite but one of the best made. As much as I liked Juno, I liked ‘Nick and Norah’s Infinite Playlist’ even more. You may think I’m nuts for saying that, but I was able to connect with the characters and story in this film better.
I honestly remember having nights like the one these characters had. Pulling all nighters not knowing where the night will take you.

Keanu Reeves Not Doing 'Speed 3', Honestly
In response to the earlier rumor that Fox is looking to prolong the life of the Speed series and bring back Keanu Reeves in the lead, Neo has already spoken to IGN and completely disavowed any knowledge or participation in the project:
[IGN] asked if he had heard about the online chat and he said, "I honestly don't know anything about it."
He went on: "I don't know if they are going to make another one, and if they are it won't be with me... honestly!"

Kat Dennings @ 15th Annual Women In Hollywood Tribute
Review: ’Nick and Nora’ turn indie rock into teen romance"Nick and Norah’s Infinite Playlist" delivered what any typical teen comedy does -- silly sexual innuendo, lapses of judgment and a few random love tracks playing in the background here and there. While watching this film, I couldn’t help but think of Judd Apatow’s insanely hilarious sense of humor mixed with the ’80s teen story, "Pretty in Pink."The movie is nerdy, yet it has a sense of charm that d
