Coke Zero issues statement about Jack White song
The collaboration between Jack White, the new James Bond movie, and Coke Zero clearly isn’t a three-way marriage made in heaven. A segment of White’s song for Quantum of Solace appeared in a Coke ad on Friday, causing his management team to respond by saying they are “disappointed that you first heard the song in a co-promotion for Coke Zero, rather than in its entirety."
Now Coke Zero has clarified the matter, stating the song appeared in the ad due to a partnership struck up by the
Jack White Will Not Be Having A Smile With His Coke [Unendorsements]
As a rebuttal of sorts to Friday's item about a Jack White composition being used in an ad for the slightly-better-than-diet-Coke calorie-free soda Coke Zero, the Idolator tips inbox received this statement from his people over the weekend: "Jack White was commissioned by Sony Pictures to write a theme song for the James Bond film Quantum Of Solace, not for Coca Cola. Any other use of the song is based on decisions made by others, not by Jack White. We are disappointed that you first heard the song in a co-
A Sample Of The James Bond Theme By Jack White
Here's the Coke ad for Coca Cola Zero which is sponsoring the Quantum of Solace, ok we are not advertising coke here, the main reason we are posting it is cause you get a sample of the new Bond theme which is composed by Jack White with Alicia Keys and its sounding pretty spiffy.

Coke Zero Gets White, Jack White
Get psyched, Coke Zero and 007 are teaming up to promote curiously named blockbuster-to-be Quantum Of Solace (watch the trailer here). Kicking off this integrated marketing campaign is an animated James Bond-themed Coke Zero commercial featuring car chases, kung-fu, sexy ladies and a new original score by Jack White. It's his second original composition for the brand (jingle "What Goes Around Comes Around" appeared in 2006) and should whet your appetite for "Another Way To Die," the Bond theme he recorded w
Jack White 'unhappy at Coke association'
Jack White is displeased that his James Bond duet with Alicia Keys is being used by Coca Cola.
Jack White Didn't Approve That Coke/Bond Commercial
As we told you last week, that new James Bond-themed Coke commercial uses Jack White's "Another Way To Die," aka his duet with Alicia Keys, aka the theme song for the new Bond film Quantum Of Solace, to help rebrand and sell Coke Zero as Coke Zero Zero 7 (duh). What we didn't tell you (because we didn't know) is that White didn't give Coca Cola his approval to pair his riffs with those car chases, slow-mo kung-fu silhouettes, and silhouetted ladies swimming the seas of Coke. Too bad, Jack & Coke has a nice

Jack White's management team responds to Coke Zero ad
Earlier today we brought news that Jack White's theme for the new James Bond movie, Quantum of Solace, had been used in an advertisement for Coke Zero. White had previously worked with Coke a couple of years back, writing an exclusive track for a campaign that ran in 2006. The White-Coke collaboration didn't come as a total surprise, but it appears someone at his management company isn't exactly thrilled by the soda giant's appropriation of the song. Prefix just received this statement from White's manageme

Jack White Loses Quantum Of Dignity [Endorsements]
If there's one thing we know about Jack White—besides his penchant for ugly facial hair—it's that he loves money. Lucky for him the Coca-Cola corporation has plenty where that came from, and a massive cross-promotion deal with the new James Bond movie Quantum of Solace. White composed the music for a new Coke Zero/Quantum commercial, proving his corporate cred once and for all to the notoriously insular and judgmental Madison Avenue scene, which has long accused him of selling in.

Jack White's Raconteurs at Treasure Island Festival
We asked Jack White and Brendan Benson of the Raconteurs to talk about the ups and downs of the festival circuit, including the particular challenge of persuading fans of The White Stripes' "Seven Nation Army" to dig into the far-out sounds of their current band's second album, "Consolers of the Lonely." And yes, they insist, it really is a band.

Jack White is going to drink Pepsi after this stunt….
I can’t say that I blame him. White Stripes star Jack White is “disappointed” after his Bond track Another Way To Die was used to promote a soft drink. The rocker teamed up with Alicia Keys to write and record the theme song for forthcoming James Bond film, Quantum Of Solace.
Jack was left reeling when it made its debut on the commercial for drinks giant Coca Cola instead.

Jack White performs QUANTUM OF ZERO ZERO ad!
It would appear that the disgusting and pointless (is their a reason for a coke drink to exist which has no sugar… or calories as it’s marketed in the U.S.?) brand that is Coke Zero has been temporarily re-named Zero Zero as part of a James Bond tie-in campaign to celebrate the upcoming QUANTUM OF SOLACE.
To try and entice you to buy the vile drink, Coke have hired Jack White of The Racentours and The White Stripes fame to score a Brand New advert which has been created in the style of the typ
White's Fears Over Filming
Rocker Jack White suffered a bout of nerves before he filmed guitar documentary IT MIGHT GET LOUD - because he was worried he would mess up his part.
The White Stripes frontman joined fellow guitar greats Jimmy Page, from Led Zeppelin, and U2's The Edge to pay tribute to the instrument.
And he admits he didn't think twice when he was given the chance to take part in the David Guggenheim film - because of the legendary names involved.
The Seven Nation Army singer says, "You get nervous because you w
