Have Sweet Dreams Resting In The Innards Of Your Own Tauntaun [Star Wars]
Zip open the carcass of your very own Tauntaun sleeping bag, and rest inside its warm gooey organs, for a snowy sleep. The brilliant minds over at Think Geek cooked up this Tauntaun bag, complete with light saber zipper, how else were you going to get inside?Sadly, it's an April Fools' joke but wouldn't it be amazing if someone actually made these sleeping bags, hell I'd still sleep in it today. This is by far the best, and cruelest joke we've seen all day. Well done, geeks.

It's being reported that Spock himself, Zachary Quinto will lend his voice to the reading of the novelization of JJ Abrams upcoming reinvention of Star Trek for the recording of the audio book.
The book will be written by Alan Dean Foster, who isn't new to the novelization game, not in the least. Early Reviews: Is J.J. Abrams' 'Star Trek' Reboot Set To Be The First Tentpole Smash Of 2009?
J.J. Abrams "Star Trek" reboot has a surprise screening in Austin last night, so that means all the usual Texas film suspects were in the house. The film doesn't come out until May 8, but apparently no embargo was put in place so reviews have already run wild. What we're seeing so far, is what we've seen in the trailer -- this looks more "Star Wars" prequels space action drama than the slow-moving and pensive science-fiction of yore.Hollywood Elsewhere's Moises Chiullan, a young buck admittedly...
Use The Force... Zac??
"High School Musical" Star Zac Efron had the chance to visit George Lucas' museum-like home, Skywalker Ranch, during the filming of his "17 Again" film. And
Efron
was so inspired by Lucas' collection that he is now requesting to be considered for the lead role in the "Star Wars" TV series.
" There were real stormtrooper outfits, real memorabilia from the movie. There were a lot of valuable things we were wrecking in that house. That element, that nerd...

Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman, co-writers of J.J. Abrams' upcoming Star Trek movie, told SCI FI Wire that they don't consider the movie a "reboot" of the franchise or the original series and argue that the film's time-travel element was necessary to bridge the new story with everything that has come before. They also told us why this Trek may have more Star Wars in it. (Spoilers ahead!)
In this final part of our three-part exclusive interview, Orci said, "We couldn't imagine not having this...

S.S. Natalie Portman’s Star Wars Wardrobe Test Shoots
Putting up these pictures from Natalie Portman’s Star Wars wardrobe test shoots will no-doubt secure my recognition in the archives of my online Jedi Council Forum, right behind Alderaan21’s Trapper Keeper drawings of Princess Leia naked and Qui-Gon Tims’s miniature Twi’ilek collection.
Umm Ok, Natalie
Not sure if Natalie Portman went clinically insane lately and I didn't get the memo or if there's some kind of real reason for these photos. Either way, Star Wars geeks are probably jumping all around their bedrooms right about now. As for me, I'm just a little confused.

VOTD: Lingerie Lightsaber Fight
This mock commercial written and directed by Adam Green , who also directed the 2006 horror film Hatchet , was just an excuse to get two beautiful women ( Rileah Vanderbilt and Clare Grant ) fighting with lightsabers in their underwear. I’m surprised that no one had come up with this idea sooner (especially with the abundance of Star Wars -inspired fan films out there).
Dancing with the Stars: Week 4 Results
Filed under: OpEd, Dancing with the Stars, Episode Reviews(S08E07) - "I'm not scared of the double elimination or rattlesnakes" - TyI was happy aboutone thing last night that I forgot to mention: all the music fit. I dreaded that this week would have more obscene tango music (Star Wars Tango?) and six performances of the Lindy Hop set to Christina Aguilera's "Candyman," but the classics fit. Speaking of no bad music, the guest performers would have been given a harsh critique by Simon Cowellif...
The People vs George Lucas: Interview Todd Hanson
From The People vs George Lucas , an interview with Todd Hanson, head writer for The Onion, about whether Star Wars fans hate Star Wars?
What is happening in this photo?
A) David Wright and Derek Jeter fight to the death to decide who is prettier
B) Recreating a scene from the Star Wars trilogy
C) Nothing, these are actually wax figures
D) Attend Delta’s Jeter/Wright batting challenge
I am going with A. But I will not divulge the winner in fear of my friend’s reaction to the answer.
