Mark Harmon: If anyone ever decides to do a show about dancing forensics experts, Central Florida will tune in. This market loves dancing and crime-solving. We also like football, Wisteria Lane, McDreamy, Mark Harmon, Simon Baker and interviews with Barack Obama. The single biggest program of the just-concluded November sweeps was the "60 Minutes" interview with the president-elect and his wife, Michelle Obama. It scored an 18.1 rating. A Barbara Walters interview with the Obamas scored a 10.4 household rating Wednesday night, when the four-week sweeps concluded. (Keep in mind: Babs had a lot of competition from travel and holiday preparation.) Here are the market's favorite shows, their networks and the number of households they averaged in the sweeps: 1. "Dancing With the Stars" Monday, ABC, 209,000 homes 2. "Dancing With the Stars" Tuesday, ABC, 187,000 3. "60 Minutes," CBS, 173,000 homes -- the Obamas' interview lifted this long-running newsmagazine, which is often cited as prime time's greatest hit. 4. "CSI," CBS, 162,000 5. (tie) "Criminal Minds," CBS, 159,000 Sunday Night Football, NBC, 159,000 7. "Grey's Anatomy," ABC, 156,000 8. "Desperate Housewives," ABC, 153,000 9. "The Mentalist," CBS, 141,000 10. "NCIS," CBS, 139,000

“Mr. Dad” Gets Interviewed by Barbara Walters
Dear Dad, I notice that you are discussing a dog in this snippet of the interview. I saw a dog yesterday. It came up to the driveway…and barked like crazy, and it was so tiny, cute but a little scary. Not sure if it would be the right one, if there is going to be one at all.

‘NCIS’ Premieres Tonight
The ratings powerhouses are starting to arrive this fall.  After CSI: Miami yesterday, it’s NCIS‘ turn to grace our TV sets and finally assuage the fans of the procedural who have waited all these weeks for the premiere.  Of course, central to the agenda is whether the new team of Gibbs (Mark Harmon) will work out just as well as the disbanded old team. According to CBS, the season 6 premiere slated tonight is called “Last Man Standing.”  The episode will follow the murder of a Naval Pet

Barack Obama: We'll "Scoop the Poop"
They'll "scoop the poop," he told Barbara Walters in a 20/20 interview Wednesday. "We've been talking to them about that. We don't want litter on the White House lawns. They're going to have to do their job." Look back at famous first children. (Incidentally, they still haven't settled on a dog. Walters suggested one like her Havanese named Cha Cha, but the president-elect said it sounded like a "little yappy dog" and seems a little "girly." Michelle Obama then chimed in, "We're girls, we have a house fu

Bush's self-legacy: 'Did not sell his soul'
President Bush usually is reluctant to talk about his own legacy, suggesting that historians will sort all of that out long after he is gone. But suddenly, with a chance to create his own entry in the archives of the Library of Congress, Bush sees a very clear legacy in his own mind. The retiring leader, a born-again Christian who says he has "been in the Bible every day since I've been the president,'' declares that he is proud of something his father, too, can declare: They have not sold their souls.

What Some TV News Moms Think of the Incoming Mom-in-Chief
TVNewser contributor Diane Clehane writes in Vanity Fair about Michelle Obama dubbing herself 'Mom in Chief.' Clehane asked a few working TV News moms to weigh in: • Soledad O'Brien: "Working mothers will absolutely be watching her to see the decisions she'll make. She epitomizes the modern mom-a woman who is well educated and had an important job-and yet she is making that choice to step away from full-time work to be home with her girls because her husband is going to be president of the United S

'NCIS' Tops Ratings, Some Season Spoilers
Almost 18 million people tuned in for the season premiere of NCIS Tuesday night, winning its 8 to 9pm timeslot.  Surely, the show may not be as hyped as, say, CSI, but time and again, it delivers, even egging CBS' new drama The Mentalist premiered to a whopping 15.6 million.  NCIS' strong debut numbers seemed to even further aggravate the case of the medical drama House, whose already dismal 14.4 million premiere numbers even dipped to 12.1 million on its second. For those who need a refresher,

BARBARA WALTERS BARACK OBAMA & MICHELLE OBAMA INTERVIEW VIDEO
Barbara Walters interviewed President Barack Obama and his beautiful First Lady Michelle Obama yesterday in an ABC television special.  Barbara Walters scored the interview after her hour long segment on the world's first pregnant man in her last special. This is a hard act for Barack Obama and Michelle Obama to follow. The View had Elisabeth Hasselbeck bashing Barack Obama and Michelle Obama during the election and ABC snubbed Barack Obama by not allowing him to purchase air time to run his infomercia

Obama, “Say It To My Face”. If You Do You are Covered Under Obama’s Plan
Obama attacked John McCain in a recent TV interview, saying “Say It To My Face”. What is amusing about Obama’s response is that it is, in and of itself, an attack. Obama has been running a negative attack on McCain from day one. For him to criticize the McCain camp for any negative comment is laughable. Obama has attacked every facet of the current administration and made every attempt to link McCain and the Bush Administration, no matter how different those policies are and no matter
