The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus teaser trailer online
The teaser trailer has arrived for The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus, the Terry Gilliam film that is Heath Ledger's last film, but more than that is starring Johnny Depp, Colin Farrell and Jude Law all playing the same character but in different worlds.
Co-written and directed by Terry Gilliam it also stars Christopher Plummer as Dr. Parnassus himself.
The teaser doesn't seem much of a teaser, more of a featurette of some early work on the film and a voiceover description
Teaser for Terry Gilliam’s The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus
Madman. Crazy genius. Visionary director. All labels that could be used to define Terry Gilliam. A rule breaker from the beginning, the man has had more than his share of problems making films and the last few years seem to have been particularly hard. There was the nightmare of The Adventures of Baron Munchausen and the depressingly awful The Brothers Grimm. Then there’s Tideland, a film I really liked although I realize most didn’t feel the same. Above all else with Gilliam, it seems as though

Dr. Parnassus Tease Now Online [The Imaginarium Of Doctor Parnassus]
Looking for your first sneak at Heath Ledger's final movie? Look no further - a teaser video for The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus has appeared online, and while it doesn't feature any actual scenes from the finished movie, it does have director Terry Gilliam explaining what the movie's about, concept artwork and pre-visualization CGI from the movie and, oddly enough, lots of reminders about Gilliam's earlier work.
If anything, the retrospective nature of the 2:48 video is as depressing as it is
BBC3 Show ‘The Wrong Door’ Shows the Computer’s Revenge
Apparently the upcoming U.K. comedy series The Wrong Door is a Robot Chicken–esque sketch show in which very short little segments incorporate sci-fi special effects into everyday life. There are a ton of promo clips up on YouTube, some of which are great and some of which are lame. But when they're great, they're really, really great, as in this clip in which an office drone abuses his workstation, with unpredictable results. Look for Ben Silverman to import this to NBC in ten minutes flat.

tMF Featured Trailer: The Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus!
The last news (http://themovie-fanatic.com/exclusive_articles/film_focus/imaginarium_of_dr_parnasus_aug2008_updates/) we had on Heath Ledger's last film, The Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus, was a rather bleak one - US-based distributors are not very 'keen' to market the Terry Gilliam movie.
Hopefully, fans of the late actor can do something about it. The latest news is much better as a sort of teaser trailer has just been released to drumbeat interest on the film. Here's the teaser trailer via youtube:

Rumor Market: Colin Farrell as Watson in Ritchie’s ‘Holmes’?
If there is one thing that we in the world of internet movie journalism do well (or not so well, depending on who you ask), it is feed on crazy rumors about all of the most anticipated projects in development. And it appears that Guy Ritchie’s production of Sherlock Holmes, which has Robert Downey Jr. set to star in the title role, is quickly becoming one of those projects. Not too long ago, rumors emerged that Russell Crowe was in talks to play Holmes’ sidekick Dr. Watson, but that was quickly

Below, you can check out the new poster for ‘Pride and Glory’, the long-in-development cop/family drama starring Norton, Farrell, and Jon Voight and directed by Gavin O’Connor (’Miracle’, ‘Tumbleweeds’). This film began production in February of 2006, and has been delayed time and time again.
Boring title. Boring premise. Boring marketing. The only thing this movie has going for it are it’s two main stars, which is enough to sell me.

Things have been going very well. Start-ups are never easy, and we had to work harder than usual to convince readers and advertisers that we were back to stay. But we now have a circulation of 200,000 and a growing stable of high profile advertisers from Marc Jacobs to Motorola to MSNBC. The website, which has been instrumental in the magazine’s success, is growing each month. And getting nominated for a general excellence award by ASME was incredibly exciting.
