"W." TV Spot
It will be interesting to see how both sides of the aisle react to this movie. If it’s seriously damaging to the President’s reputation (which is how the clips look), I can only imagine that the Republicans will be crying and the Democrats will be cheering. And vice versa. And I just have to say how much I love this poster. The Oliver Stone-directed biopic stars Josh Brolin as George W. Bush, Elizabeth Banks as Laura Bush, James Cromwell as George Herbert Walker Bush, Ellen Burstyn as Barbar

'W.' trailer: Can his expose of George W. Bush get Oliver Stone back in the Oscars derby?
Oliver Stone's newest film, "W.," about the life of the current U.S. commander in chief could well put the three-time Oscar winner back in the derby. As you will see from the trailer, Josh Brolin eerily embodies George W. Bush, just as his father, James, bore a strong resemblance to President Ronald Reagan when he portrayed him in a 2003 TV miniseries. Oscar winners Richard Dreyfuss as Vice President Dick Cheney and Ellen Burstyn as Barbara Bush lend support as do Oscar nominee James Cromwell as Preside

W. TV Spot# 2 and Christian Bale was supposed to play Dubya Bush
The second TV spot for W. has hit the web and once again, just like the first one, this also gives us the comedy side of the movie, Is W. only going to make fun of George W. Bush? Cause that’s what it seems so far. What about the drama aspect of it all? I thought Oliver Stone was going to give a fair portrayal. I’m not a fan of the Bush administration but what good would this biopic be if this turns out to be one-sides only?! In an interview with GQ Magazine, Director Oliver Stone revealed

EXCLUSIVE: ‘W.’ Photo Reveals Bush’s Wild Side
By and large I love me some Oliver Stone. I will defend just about all of his work except for “Alexander”. But even I am not sure what to make of his take on the life and times of George W. Bush. “W.” opens in just over a month and each glimpse me leaves me simultaneously intrigued and skeptical. Will Oliver pull off something special? Your guess is as good as mine. In the meantime, here’s an exclusive image.

Newton And Gruffudd In Stone's W
Oliver Stone's W, the story of the formative years and early experiences in office of one George W. Bush, landed some further cast members today, in the shapely shapes of Ioan Gruffudd and Thandie Newton. Newton will play Condoleeza Rice, Bush's National Security Adviser turned Secretary of State, who apparently plays a key role in certain early Iraq-related scenes, while Gruffudd will play Tony Blair, a firm Bush ally in the Iraq War. Josh Brolin's already been cast as Dubya himself, with Elizabeth

George W. Bush: American Psycho?

Bush -- are about to get even more interesting thanks to this almost-casting revelation courtesy of W. director Oliver Stone. In an interview with GQ Magazine, Stone reveals who his first choice was to play Bush in his forthcoming biopic. "We were turned down by everybody for money, including your Aunt Gertrude. It was humiliating. I make no bones about it. I think t

Comingsoon has the first TV spot for W. the biopic movie about our Pres. George Dubya Bush, directed by the man who wrote Scarface, Platoon, JFK, and Nixon, the man who loves conspiracy, Oliver Stone. This very brief TV spot shows the comedy side of this drama, it pokes fun at Bush’s pronunciation capability and If I’m not mistaken, isn’t the last part about him chokin’ on those Pretzels that one time? Plot: Whether you love him or hate him, there is no question that George W.

Bale Bailed on W.
With the release of Oliver Stone's George W. Bush biopic, W., on the horizon, the director recently admitted that Josh Brolin, who plays the 43rd President, was not his first choice. In fact, the production first threw a bunch of money at Christian Bale, with whom Stone worked on some "rigorous prosthetic tests" for the role. In the end, however, Bale bailed, saying he just didn't feel like he could do it. But Stone doesn't mind his second choice. "I met Josh and liked him. He was more rural Americana.

"W" Preview and Trailer
W. is headed to screens Oct. 17, 2008. It’s Oliver Stone’s story about George W. Bush, taking us through his life, struggles and triumphs, marriage to Laura, development of his faith, and the critical days leading up to his decision to invade Iraq. What do you think about this? I just keep thinking how weird it would be to have a movie made about you. I’m sure Stone will give us his version of the events, and they’ll probably be really dramatic and possibly untrue. I’d like s
