Obama, “Say It To My Face”. If You Do You are Covered Under Obama’s Plan
Obama attacked John McCain in a recent TV interview, saying “Say It To My Face”. What is amusing about Obama’s response is that it is, in and of itself, an attack. Obama has been running a negative attack on McCain from day one. For him to criticize the McCain camp for any negative comment is laughable.
Obama has attacked every facet of the current administration and made every attempt to link McCain and the Bush Administration, no matter how different those policies are and no matter
Osama Ballot!
Barack Osama is running for President, at least on New York ballots. New York Ballots have Barack Osama running for President next month, not Barack Obama. Ballot writers in New York apparently spell worse than LALATE.
The absentee ballots sent to voters in Rensselaer County are the ones that get Osama not Obama. The ballot did get John McCain’s name right.
Of course, an AP story adds this in case you don’t know. “In the United States, the best-known individual named Osama is Osama b
ONE VIDEO TO RULE ALL THE OTHERS
Yep, Obama saw it coming, right down the line. So the answer to that question is “Yes,” the Republicans have been this predictable.
It’s also called knowing your enemy’s move before they do.
But what people may not remember is that when Obama gave this speech, back in July, in which he basically laid out the [...]
Review: 'Kids Pick the President'
Barack Obama and John McCain answer questions submitted by viewers aged 10 to 15.
The CC Weekly Weigh In: If I Were President…
The election is less than 4 weeks away, which, obvi, everyone knows since the campaign commercials/ mailings/ phone calls/ SNL skits are EVERYWHERE. All the time. I even hear “I am Barack Obama and I approve this message,” in my freaking SLEEP.
It’s crunch time and Barack Obama and John McCain are popping into new cities every day to tell Americans what they plan to do when they move into the Oval Office.
Which got us thinking.
We know that we could never run for president (there are w

It’s definitely no typo and no error, the person who printed the ballot knew exactly what they were doing.
McCain/Palin are doing a great job turning off Obama supporters.

POLITICIANS OR MOB BOSSES? PT. 7
The fury and loathing of Obama being whipped up largely by McCain-Palin-GOP rhetoric about the Illinois Senator is now spilling into down-ticket races, specifically the battle between GOP incumbent Saxby Chambliss and his Dem challenger:
Thursday’s debate took place in front of a highly partisan crowd in the GOP stronghold of Middle Georgia.
Chambliss supporters waved “Saxby” signs and offered up a sustained “boos” when Martin mentioned Democratic presidential nominee Barack
LET THE CONSPIRACY THEORIES BEGIN: BARACK ‘OSAMA’ ON BALLOT IN NY
In an upstate New York county, hundreds of voters have been sent absentee ballots with the name Barack Osama. Commisioners say they regret the error and that it is a typo, which it could very well be.
But…
Just take a second and look down at your keyboard and tell me how close the ’s’ and the ‘b’ are and how massively blundering your titanic hands would have to be to make this kind of accidnetal mis-type.

Both campaigns spending about the same on negative ads
WASHINGTON (CNN) -- The race for the White House is being waged in the final weeks in American living rooms through a blitz of negative campaign commercials.
Both Sens. John McCain and Barack Obama are throwing large amounts of money into TV ad campaigns this year.
And though the Sen. Barack Obama’s campaign circulated a University of Wisconsin Advertising Project study earlier this week indicating all of Sen. John McCain’s ads are negative compared to just 34 percent of Obama’s, both
McCain shies away from recent days’ attacks
AP - Republican John McCain, the clock ticking down on a chance to narrow Democrat Barack Obama’s lead in polls, turned away Saturday from visceral attacks on his rival to pivot back toward policy differences.
McCain kept his speech in this Iowa river town focused on the economy and other policies, a striking change from just days ago when his campaign redoubled its challenge to Obama over his association with a former ’60s radical. McCain also claimed that American voters didn’t really k
McCain calls comments by Georgia Democrat ’shocking’
WASHINGTON (CNN) -- Sen. John McCain called a statement by a Georgia congressman Saturday, which compared the feeling at recent Republican rallies to those of segregationist George Wallace, "a brazen and baseless attack."
Rep. John Lewis, D-Georgia, and Sen. John McCain traded tough statements Saturday.
Rep. John Lewis, D-Georgia, who has been praised by McCain in the past, issued his statement after several days of headline-grabbing anger aimed at Democratic nominee Barack Obama from some att
Palin heightens rhetoric on abortion
JOHNSTOWN, Pennsylvania (CNN) -- Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin charged into the culture wars Saturday in Pennsylvania, painting Sen. Barack Obama as a radical on abortion rights.
Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin speaks at a rally in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, Saturday.
The stop comes amid news that Palin violated Alaska ethics law by trying to get her former brother-in-law fired from the state police, a state investigator’s report for the bipartisan Legislative Council concluded Friday.

NOW THEY’RE GETTING IT
John McCain: If your campaign does not stop equating Sen. Barack Obama with terrorism, questioning his patriotism and portraying Mr. Obama as “not one of us,” I accuse you of deliberately feeding the most unhinged elements of our society the red meat of hate, and therefore of potentially instigating violence.
At a Sarah Palin rally, someone called out, “Kill him!” At one of your rallies, someone called out, “Terrorist!” Neither was answered or denounced by you or your r
Obama wins William Buckley Jr.'s son
Little late to the party on this but it's still worth noting. Christopher Buckley, son of the late conservative writer William F. Buckley Jr. has endorsed Sen. Barack Obama.
With typical Buckleyan wit, the former Esquire editor and White House speech writer (Bush 41) makes clear he hasn't jumped ship and become a liberal. Instead his decision springs more from his disappointment with Sen. John McCain than any embrace of Obama's guiding political philosophy or agenda.
Here's an excerpt from the Daily Be
Alaska Ethics Probe: Sarah Palin Abused Her Power
U.S. Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin abused her power as the state’s governor, according to the claim of Alaska ethics inquiry on Friday.
This claim seems to cloud over John McCain’s controversial choice of running mate for the November 4 election.
At the same time, John McCain shifted his campaign strategy. After a week in which his campaign tried in vain to seize the momentum from Democrat Barack Obama with fierce personal attacks, he adopted a conciliatory tone, callin
Thank God for Friday Happy Hour
Today is Friday. Tomorrow is Saturday. That means the stock exchange is closed, which also means that the economy can’t crash for 2 whole days! Wahoo! Grab you’re your favorite snacks (fat is in!) and celebrate!
That is the best news we’ve heard all week, but that isn’t saying much after the week we’ve had:
Gay rights activists get locked out of a campus, a**holes continued to break girls’ hearts, celebs got all cocky on us, Joe Six Pack made an appearance, the presidential candidates “debat
MCCAIN’S ANGRY MOB PUSHBACK, PT. 2
The other big news of the evening, besides the finding that Sarah Palin abused the power of her office in the Troopergate scandal, is that John McCain, for the first time, after a full week of media coverage, has finally weighed in on hate-filled, sometimes murderous rhetoric that has been heard at McCain-Palin campaign events this week.
I’ll have more thoughts on this over the weekend. Till then, the video — kind of a must see – of McCain asking his supporters to “be respect
MUSICAL DISTRACTION: “I’M GOING UPSTAIRS,” BY JOHN LEE HOOKER
Today’s Musical Distraction actually comes from one of our readers – a financial whiz who flirted with McCain early on, but come election day plans to “take that next step” with Obama.
Mainly because he’s been crying himself to sleep at night over the market collapse and believes that Obama’s policy prescriptions, while not necessarily music to his free market-loving ears, are far more common-sense, reality-based than McCain’s.
He calls this song his
We Want The Truth! CC’s Questions for Tonight’s Presidential Debate
Tonight is the 2nd Presidential Debate, which is sure to be awesome (even if it’s not nearly as hyped as Palin vs. Biden’s Teeth).
The event is going to be moderated by NBC’s Tom Brokaw, but instead of Tommy asking the questions, the debate will have a town hall format.
Which means the people get to ask [...]
Rensselaer County: Obama misspelt Osama
In Rensselaer County, Barack Obama has been misspelt and the incident reminded people of Osama bin Laden. Resselaer County had about 300 of absentee ballots mailed out to some residents. These ballot cards had Osama on them. Both the Republican Commissioner and the Democrat Commissioner said the mistake was a typo. They have apologized.

WHO WON? WELL, “THAT ONE”… OBVIOUSLY
As I said earlier, tonight’s debate wasn’t even close. “That one“ took it easily. The only issue McCain may have been able to claim a win on was taxes, but even that’s debatable because Obama’s message of “burden sharing” is a salient one right now with the American people, who still have “bailout” on the brain.
Obama was more substantive, more presidential, he talked to the audience as if they were thinking, reasonable people, in short treatin
