Don't get mad at us. She said it. In her interview with InStyle magazine , double Golden Globe winner Kate Winslet made a curious request.
"Please
don't call me [a movie star]. I don't feel like a movie star in my life
at all, and I don't particularly think I behave like one," the Revolutionary Road actress told the mag.

trainer," adding that she treats her on-screen life as a job and

The BAFTA Awards, the British equivalent of the Oscars, announced this years’ nominees and our fave, Slumdog Millionaire, got mad love with eleven nominations including one for our boy Dev Patel as Best Actor. The BAFTA nominations were announced today in London. Curious Case of Benjamin Button and Slumdog Millionaire led the noms with 11 apiece. The Dark Knight followed with nine nominations, including another posthumous nom for Heath Ledger, while Clint Eastwood's Changeling got eight nominations.
The five best film nominations were Slumdog, Button, The Reader, Frost/Nixon and Milk.
The Awards will be handed out February 8th in a ceremony hosted by Jonathan Ross.

Ross to host Bafta movie awards
The presenter will return to Friday Night with Jonathan Ross next week following his three-month suspension for making prank phone calls with Russell Brand on Radio 2.
Tom Cruise, Stephen Fry and comedian Lee Evans are all confirmed to appear on the programme on January 23.
In October 2008, Jonathan stepped down from presenting the British Comedy Awards because he 'did not want his participation to take away from the awards themselves or the many talented winners'.
