The /Filmcast: After Dark - Ep. 27 (GUEST: Seth Gordon)
The /Filmcast: After Dark is a recording of what happens right after The /Filmcast is over, when the kids have gone to bed and the guys feel free to speak whatever is on their minds. In other words, it’s the leftover and disorganized ramblings, mindfarts, and brain diarrhea from The /Filmcast, all in one convenient audio file. In this episode, Dave, Peter, Devindra, and Adam are joined by special guest director Seth Gordon to chat about The King of Kong, Four Christmases, and the art of filmmaking. Thanks
'Twilight' Beats Wednesday Opening of 'Four Christmases' To Lead Thanksgiving Box Office; 'Australia' Debuts Distant #7
THURSDAY EARLY AM: For this 5-day Thanksgiving holiday, it looks like Twilight and female tweens and teens will go together like turkey and pumpkin pie. It's too soon to call the weekend movie-wise based just on Wednesday's grosses. But the expected frontrunner, New Line/Warner Bros' sour Four Christmases, came in only No. 2 with $6M from 3,310 theaters behind $8M from 3,419 venues for Summit Entertainment's no-sex, no-violence, no-stars vampire romance that should spend another weekend No. 1. "All tho
In Theaters This Week: Nov. 26, 2008
I love the holidays, because we don’t have to wait until Friday for the new movies to be released. They’re usually in theaters on Wednesday, which is ultra-cool. Here’s what’s new this week:
Four Christmases. Grounded by bad weather, Reese Witherspoon and Vince Vaughn end up in their worst nightmare - spending the holidays with their families. I love both of these actors, so even though I’ve heard not-all-good reviews of this movie, I’ll definitely be seeing it. [Gecko
Reese Witherspoon laughs off Vaughn rift rumours
Actress Reese Witherspoon has laughed off reports of tensions between her and Vince Vaughn on the set of their festive film Four Holidays.
cute slip of the tongue by Reese
IT IS the moment Reese Witherspoon has studiously avoided, the slip of the tongue that sends the Academy Award-winning actor almost diving under a table to hide her embarrassment."I usually take movies based on scripts and who I'll be working with," she says earnestly of her latest comedy, Four Holidays.
"And the main reason I did this movie was to work with Jake."
Problem No.1: Four Holidays co-stars Vince Vaughn.
Problem No.2: Jake Gyllenhaal is the boyfriend Witherspoon has so caref

Fred Claus. Fun flick starring Vince Vaughn as Fred Claus, the disgruntled older brother of St. Nick himself. Favorite scene: Fred dancing with the elves to Elvis Presley’s “Rubberneckin’”. Too much fun! [Official Site]
Hancock (Single-Disc Unrated Version). Will Smith stars as Hancock, a superhero who can fly, is super-strong, and invincible, but he’s also a big jerk! A fun twist - in more ways than one - makes this one to watch. [Official Site]
Space Chimps. Cute family
Vince Vaughn, Nicole Kidman Share Their Turkey in Hollywood Charity Tradition [Defamer Attractions]
Welcome back to a special holiday edition of Defamer Attractions, your weekly guide to everything new, noteworthy and/or stillborn at the movies. Review: Four Christmases
Last November, Warner Bros. released Fred Claus, a Christmas-set comedy pairing up lead Vince Vaughn with Rachel Weisz.
This November, New Line released Four Christmases, a Christmas-set comedy pairing up lead Vince Vaughn with Reese Witherspoon.
Mere coincidence, you might ask, despite the fact that New Line is owned by Warner Brothers, not to mention the shared initials of both the titles and the actresses playing the love interests? Perhaps, but happenstance loses my vote when the best one can say for

Vince Works It Out For the Christmas Season
Vince Vaughn threw on some workout clothes and went for a hike with a friend in LA yesterday. Looks like someone is getting in shape before he kicks off his promotional tour for Four Christmases, and Vince is looking pretty fit these days. Even if Reese isn't looking forward to the many interviews and photo ops ahead, it will probably be nothing but cute quotes and big smiles from this pair of professionals.

Vaughn Takes New Girlfriend Home To Meet The Parents
WEDDING CRASHERS star Vince Vaughn could be calling in the wedding planners pretty soon after taking his latest girlfriend home to meet his parents.
The actor, who famously dated Jennifer Aniston, and his new girlfriend, Kyla Weber, dined at Chicago, Illinois sushi restaurant Japonais on 20 September (08) - with his parents.
One fellow diner tells Life + Style magazine, "They were sitting close together at the table, holding hands and being affectionate."

Fearless Forecast - Reese and Vince vs. The Vampires
As we always do on holiday weekends, we give you the
full four- or five-day estimate rather than one that covers Friday - Sunday and

days this week and really six movies that Will make a significant amount of
money over that time.

Reese Witherspoon Dreading Hanging Out With Vince Vaughn
Ice-cream lover Vince Vaughn is gearing up for promoting his upcoming holiday film Four Christmases and his co-star in the movie, Reese Witherspoon is not looking forward to it.
According to OK!, Reese describes Vince as "the biggest child I've ever met!" Lucky for her, though, her ex-hubby Ryan Phillippe will be taking care of the kids full-time while Reese is off on a publicity tour for the movie.
A source that dished to the mag said, "Reese is professional--she'll grit her teeth, fake a smile and p

Reese: Vince is a Child!
She’s Type A, and he’s old school — no wonder Reese Witherspoon and Vince Vaughn didn’t get along while filming their holiday comedy, Four Christmases.
According to a friend, Reese is dreading the movie’s promotional tour with Vince, whom she describes as “the biggest child I’ve ever met!”
“Promoting a movie involves long hours, and she’ll have to spend a lot of time with someone who gets under her skin,” the pal tells OK!.

An Arbitrary Guide To This (Holiday) Weekend’s New Releases
It’s not quite as crowded as last year’s Thanksgiving weekend, but between four new releases and a strong slate of holdovers, there should be something for everyone on one of the biggest movie-going weekends this side of the summer.
For action fans, there’s Transporter 3 (assuming you’ve already seen Quantum of Solace), which should make for an entertaining if derivative shoot ‘em up. I’d probably be more excited to see this if it didn’t sound so much like Crank (s
