Movie Review: ‘Twilight’ - By Cupcake XO
Imagine leaving your sunny and lively hometown of Phoenix, Arizona, to go live in the cold, rainy and dull Forks, Washington. Imagine leaving your frantic mother, to go live with your relaxed father. These extreme changes are what Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart) must endure in Catherine Hardwicke’s Twilight. The movie opens up as Bella is leaving Phoenix, and adjusting to her new surroundings. She soon finds herself at school and is captivated by the presence of a group of stunning schoolmates, who are the

Twilight, Pattinson, Stewart Hit LA at Night, Creates Mayhem
Heartthrob Robert Pattinson tried to tame his unruly hair for the LA premiere of Twilight last night, though I prefer it when he lets it flow free. He posed with his onscreen love Kristen Stewart while thousands of fans screamed with excitement. The movie boasts another hot young thing, too, Cam Gigandet who is still Volchok from The OC to me. Wherever these kids go these days madness follows and Buzz sat down to chat with Robert about it all — check out part one and part two of the interview. Jennie Gart

Twilight (2008) Movie Review
I saw Twilight twice over the weekend, each time with a person who hadn't read the book(s), and can happily report that, despite the film's sometimes glaring flaws, we all enjoyed it. THE PLUSES: -The casting was 50% spot-on, with Kristen Stewart as Bella, Billy Burke as Charlie, Kellan Lutz as Emmet Cullen and Ashley Greene as Alice Cullen all very well-cast, image-wise. The trio of "bad" vampires are adequate too. As a fan of the book series, I had serious doubts about Robert Pattinson as Edward before

'New Moon' Rising Thanks To 'Twilight' Success
Having already acquired the movie rights to the next three Twilight novels, Summit Entertainment has now given the green light to begin production on the sequel New Moon. Big box office returns over its opening weekend have secured the Twilight franchise and reluctant Robert Pattinson's future as a heartthrob no matter how vehemently he claims to be a bad kisser. 'Twilight' Breaks Box Office Records
It was definitely a hefty display of girl power at the end of the Twilight opening weekend. Raking in a hefty $70.6 million the audience was estimated to be 75% female and the largest opening ever for a film directed by a woman. The teenage vampire flick was originally expected to pull in $60 million at most, but "word of mouth" helped bring in that $10.6 million. Um, you're welcome, Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and the rest of the gang. Photo Credit: Getty Images We

Plans For 'Twilight' Sequel Begin Taking Shape
Catherine Hardwicke is in talks to follow-up her record-breaking Twilight movie by directing the sequel New Moon. The filmmaker scored the biggest debut ever for a female director when the vampire love story shot to number one in the U.S. on Sunday, and she's keen to get cracking on the sequel - so her young cast doesn't change beyond recognition. She tells USA Today newspaper, "(Twilight star Taylor Lautner) told me the other day that he had gained 14 pounds since I last saw him. He's only 16." The seq

Review: Twilight -- Peter's Take
Remarkably faithful to the spirit of its source material, the film version of Twilight crams most of the key episodes from Stephenie Meyer's novel into its breathless, 122-minute running time. Under the direction of Catherine Hardwicke (Thirteen), Twilight gallops along handsomely, showcasing the cloudy, misty beauty of its gorgeous Pacific Northwest forest locations; you can practically smell the pine trees and feel the crunch of fallen leaves beneath your feet. Using voice-over narration sparingly, screen

Review: 'Twilight': At least the movie doesn't suck
I'm not sold on Stephenie Meyer's idea of a vampire. As I'm old-school about vampire tales, it's difficult to accept a family of abstaining bloodsuckers who walk around in daylight, cast reflections, keep crosses in their house and glisten like diamonds under direct sunlight -- rather than, you know, bursting into flames. But in "Twilight," thanks to the tender handling of Meyer's central romance by director Catherine Hardwicke ("Thirteen," "The Nativity Story") and screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg (TV's "D

This Twilight Thing Is Insane!!
Kristin and RobertKristin Stewart is going to become famous whether she likes it or not. Basically, all the kids who aren’t into High School Musical are obsessed with this book series and now movie. It doesn’t hurt that everyone in the film is extremely hot. My question is, are there any ugly vampires? Was Nasfaratu the only one? Because as far as I can tell they are usually hunky, have great hair and beautiful eyes. Just look at all the vampire movies: Interview with the Vampire, Queen of the Damned, T

The Anticipated Twilight Review!!!
I must begin by explaining to you that my opinions on the movie can be taken as biased since I am absolutely and irrevocably in love with the actors and the book. * Long sentence, deep breath!* Are you ready? I thought that the movie was an awesome introduction to the Twilight Saga. Most critiques argue that it was too slow in the begininng and that there were too many periods of awkward silence. Well, I thought that the whole ” awkward silence” projected a realistic attitude towards the knowl

'Twilight' World Premiere...It's Finally Happened

Twilight has finally premiered with its young stars on the red carpet, with their hair all twisted up into fashionable waves atop their head.
