âTwilightâ Sequel âNew Moonâ Greenlit
It only took the confirmation of a massive opening weekend ($70 Million) to give Summit studios the confidence to officially greenlight the sequel to Twilight, New Moon.Â
Stephenie Meyer stated, “I don’t think any other author has had a more positive experience with the makers of her movie adaptation than I have had with Summit Entertainment. I’m thrilled to have the chance to work with them again on ‘New Moon.’”
Fans rejoice.Â

The /Filmcast: After Dark is a recording of what happens right after The /Filmcast is over, when the kids have gone to bed and the guys feel free to speak whatever is on their minds. Twilight beats Vince Vaughn & Reese Witherspoon in Four Christmases at b.o.
"It's too soon to call the weekend movie wise based just on Wednesday's grosses. But the expected frontrunner, Four Christmases, came in at #2 with $6 million. Twilight was #1 with $8 million. The surprise is that Australia was #7.

If not, you should definitely on going, because ever since Stephenie Meyer's books became a hit, the town has seen an increasing number of visitors curious to see where Bella fell in love with a vampire.
Forks is the setting of the "Twilight" books, which chronicle the romance between a 17-year-old who moves to the town and falls for Edward Cullen, a vampire.

MOVIE REVIEW: Twilight - Jed
I surprised myself when I read Stephenie Meyer’s Twilight. It’s probably one of the few times that I actually followed my sisters’ advice in terms of what books I should read. We never had similar tastes in books. While I can still hear the voice of Bella, it is actually Edward’s loneliness and sense of desperation that made me a loyal fan. I guess, we’re in the same ship, in more ways than one, and it is this sense of belongingness that kept me glued up to the last page.

In Theaters This Week: Nov. 26, 2008
I love the holidays, because we don’t have to wait until Friday for the new movies to be released. They’re usually in theaters on Wednesday, which is ultra-cool. Here’s what’s new this week:
Four Christmases. Grounded by bad weather, Reese Witherspoon and Vince Vaughn end up in their worst nightmare - spending the holidays with their families. I love both of these actors, so even though I’ve heard not-all-good reviews of this movie, I’ll definitely be seeing it. [Gecko
"Twilight" Review
I haven’t read the “Twilight” books yet, but I went into this movie expecting big things based on the massive fan frenzy. I wasn’t disappointed. “Twilight” is romantic and thrilling, whether you’re a teenager or a mom, and even though some of the content is dark, it’s still warm and uplifting. How does it manage to do that?
More after the jump…

Twilight Sequel Thoughts, Hopes
A Twilight sequel, based on Stephenie Meyer's book, New Moon, is already confirmed. Moreover, the movie's director and star have thoughts on what the next movie will feature."It's got werewolves, it's got visual effects that turn people into werewolves, it's got motorcycle stunts, you go to Italy. It's probably twice as much as this [to film]," director Catherine Hardwicke said when asked about a New Moon movie. And while the novel reduces Edward's presence, Robert Pattinson insists that New Moon is the insta
