McCain Camp: Tina Fey Is 'Sexist'
In response to Tina Fey's genius Sarah Palin impression on this weekend's Saturday Night Live (at right), McCain spokeswoman Carly Fiorina called Fey's portrayal "sexist" and "disrespectful." You know what? That's totally fair, because SNL never makes fun of any other political candidate. Oh wait… Fiorina went on to say that "just because Sarah Palin has different views than Hillary Clinton does not mean that she lacks substance." Fair enough — so w

newVideoPlayer("/FeyPoehler_Jez.flv", 506, 423,""); As predicted by many, Tina Fey appeared alongside Amy Poehler in the cold open for this weekend's season premiere of SNL. The two — appearing as Sarah Palin and Hillary Clinton — delivered a message about sexism, an issue, Poehler/Clinton noted, "I'm surprised to hear people suddenly care about." Not surprisingly, the sketch, seen above, was both funny and painful because the things coming out of Fey's mouth were not so dissimilar to the boneheaded th

Do You Like SNL's Political Sketches Better Than the Other Sketches?
In the latest episode of SNL, Tina Fey's Sarah Palin and Amy Poehler's Hillary Clinton were the highlight of the show for me by far. For the rest of the episode, I waited for more great political stuff, but only got some way-too-long sketch about pizza that put me to sleep. It made me wonder if the only thing the show has going for it nowadays is the political content. What do you think? Do You Like SNL's Political Sketches Better Than the Other Sketches? Yes — The political sketches ar

Tina Fey Rocks It With Palin Impression

Fey came back to SNL this weekend and totally nailed the comedy world’s most anticipated impression, with partner in crime Amy Poehler playing Hillary Clinton. After this she has to stick around for the remainder of the campaign. It’s her civic duty. Even though we’re a “dumb” news site we can appreciate some smart lady comics making this electio

Republican vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin was amused by Tina Fey's impression of her on this weekend's "Saturday Night Live," especially as she once dressed up as Fey for Halloween. "She thought it was quite funny, particularly because she once dressed up as Tina Fey for Halloween," her spokeswoman Tracey Schmitt said, according to CBS News. Fey bears a much-remarked-upon resemblance to Palin, and they wear similar glasses. In the skit, Fey appeared with Amy Poehler as

Phelps' Midas Touch Intact
Viewers didn't seem to mind Sarah Palin and Hillary Clinton - portrayed hilariously by Tina Fey and Amy Poehler - in lieu of Barak Obama (The real one!) on SNL's season premiere on Saturday. The 34th season opener, hosted by golden boy Michael Phelps, debuted Sept. 13th with a 7.4 rating/18 share in the metered markets. That's the highest local-market average for an SNL season premiere since 2001 and an increase of 64% from one year earlier on Sept. 29th with a 4.5/11. Let's hope the voting booths expe

Tina Fey and Amy Poehler tackle Palin and Clinton
Tina Fey and Amy Poehler opened the season premiere of Saturday Night Live with a hilarious sketch in which the two of them portray Sarah Palin and Hillary Clinton. The two were conducting a joint press conference in which they played up Palin’s lack of experience and Clinton’s exasperation at “paving the way” for a woman on the Presidential ticket, then not getting to finish the job. There was some speculation last week as to whether Fey would return to SNL to play Palin…and

Tina Fey displays her uncanny ability to resemble Sarah Palin
Tina Fey did the obvious this weekend and portrayed Alaska Governor Sarah Palin during the season premiere of Saturday Night Live. While this sketch lacks the awesomeness of Gina Gershon in a bikini, it does contain a powerful message. And that message is I'd do things to Tina Fey. Although, technically, that means I'd do things to Sarah Palin, but her refusal to use any form of contraception nullifies such an arrangement. Unless, of course, she lets me "shoot my own moose." I have no idea what that means,

Did Bristol and Levi Have A Shot Gun Wedding?
Bristol and Levi may have tied the knot recently. That is, according to a Facebook page that has Bristol's name and picture on it. The couple got hitched and she, like any forward thinking woman may or may not do, hyphenated his name. Do you really think that she would have used that picture, out of all pictures available? I'm thinking no. I think that the couple will be getting married soon but that it will be a minute or two before they do. Sarah Palin has a lot going on and needs to get a couple

Chevy Chase Tina Fey Palin VIDEO
VIDEO! Watch video of Chevy Chase on Tina Fey as Sarah Palin. Chevy Chase said Tina Fey was funny as Sarah Palin but not hard enough. Chase said Hillary Clinton material didn’t belong in the sketch. “I thought it was extraordinary how well she played her and much she looked like her, I’d like her, personally i felt we didn’t need the Hillary stuff, I’d like her to go even harder. I want her to decimate this woman.” Decimate as humor? Last weekend, Tina Fey hit a homeru

Tina Fey IS Sarah Palin
Here it is, Saturday Night Live's Sarah Palin skit starring Tina Fey. Not a lot to add to this one: it's note-perfect, and it says a lot about how incredible Fey's impersonation is here that Amy Poehler's best Hillary Clinton bit yet is relegated to the second-best performance category. Greatest Living Olympian Michael Phelps hosted the show; no word on whether or not he got handsy with Fey or Poehler after they wrapped it up. Palin and Clinton “Fey-ce” Off on SNL!
Leave it to Saturday Night Live to put the fun back in the presidential race by bringing back former castmember, Tina Fey. Possessing an almost uncanny resemblance to Alaska Governor Sarah Palin, Fey joined Amy Pohler (playing Hillary Clinton) for a “non-partisan message” from the candidates. Tina Fey dazzles as Sarah Palin on "Saturday Night Live"; and boy, is that show going to miss Amy Poehler
Michael Phelps was the host, but Tina Fey and Amy Poehler were the stars. "Saturday Night Live" opened a new season with a stellar skit uniting Gov. Sarah Palin (Fey) and Sen. Hillary Clinton (Poehler). They are pictured. The show wisely exploited Fey's resemblance to Palin -- I presume Fey will be on standby all fall to step in. The "30 Rock" star was hilarious. The faux politicians talked about sexism in politics. Or as Clinton said: "'An issue which I am frankly surprised

Sarah Palin Will Have Tina Fey Fired For This Delicious 'SNL' Skit [Baked Alaska]
Rejoice, interwebs!
