Richard Gere and Diane Lane first co-starred together in 1984, in Francis Ford Coppola's The Cotton Club. This was in the actor's heyday, the period of American Gigolo, when Gere's narcissism was at its most unrestrained, and its most interesting. No leading man has been so unconcerned whether we liked him or not. And it did the trick: we couldn't take our eyes off him. As for the film, like much of Coppola's work it was troubled in the making, in execution flawed, ambitious, innately cinematic.

‘Eagle Eye’ soars to No. 1 at box office with $29M
AP - Shia LaBeouf’s conspiracy thriller "Eagle Eye" debuted at the top of the weekend box office with $29.2 million, according to studio estimates Sunday. The Paramount-DreamWorks release was the second No. 1 premiere for LaBeouf and director D.J. Caruso, who also teamed on 2007’s hit "Disturbia." Opening in second place with $13.6 million was another reunion, the Warner Bros. romantic drama "Nights in Rodanthe" featuring "The Cotton Club" and "Unfaithful" co-stars Richard Gere and Diane Lane.

Nicolas Cage cast in another film ‘Season of the Witch’
This is yet another perfect movie for Nic Cage to be in. I have come to realize that some movie have to have Nic Cage in them becuase if he doesn’t do it who will? He will star in a supernatural thriller called ‘Season of the Witch’ with Dominic Sena directing. Variety reports: Story chronicles the journey of 14th century knights transporting a girl suspected of being the witch responsible for spreading the Black Plague. I’m sure there will be bad things that happen along the way.

Review: ‘Nights in Rodanthe’
This adaptation of the Nicholas Sparks novel succeeds at being an entertaining and engaging romance film that stays away from sap and cliché’s of the genre, but still kind of prescribes to the formula.
