Will Smith: And the Oscar goes to… Will Smith! Well, that’s a possibility if this movie serves him well. This could be yet another chance for him to have his name listed among the top nomination. The fact that he reunited with his Pursuit of Happyness director Gabriel Muccino who helped him get his second nomination a couple of years ago might help. The trailer for SEVEN POUNDS has hit the web. The film follows Smith as an IRS agent who embarks on a secret journey of redemption by forever changing the lives of seven strangers. An IRS with a conscience,… well how bout that?! I thought that could only happen when pigs starts to fly. The trailer gives me the impression like he’s doing this gesture without those seven lives being Read full story at www.ramasscreen.com

Will Smith's Seven Pounds Gets a Trailer, Too
In addition to the fantastic trailer for Australia released earlier today, Sony has debuted the first trailer for the follow-up to Will Smith's Pursuit of Happyness. Directed by Gabriele Muccino, Seven Pounds stars Smith as an IRS agent who sets out to make amends by helping seven strangers. As touching and heartwarming as this trailer looks, I'm completely confused. Is Will Smith some sort of superhero who has the power to heal these strangers? Or is he giving them money? I really don't want to know wh

Seven Pounds Trailer Starring Will Smith and Rosario Dawson
The trailer for Will Smith’s next movie has leaked online, a project that finds him reteaming with Gabriele Muccino, the director of The Pursuit of Happyness. The plot for Seven Pounds seems kind of mysterious, stating only that Smith plays a guilt-ridden IRS agent who sets out to help seven strangers, and ends up falling in love with a woman who has a heart condition. If you ask me, it looks like the cheesiest Oscar-bait I’ve seen so far this season, but then again, I thought the same thing abo

Seven Pounds Trailer
A trailer is now online for Sony's upcoming new drama "Seven Pounds" starring Will Smith, Rosario Dawson, Woody Harrelson, and Barry Pepper.

Movie Preview: Will Smith in Seven Pounds
It's cool that there's a new trailer out for Will Smith's upcoming heartwarming drama Seven Pounds, even if it doesn't offer much insight into what the movie is about, exactly. I turned to IMDB for a little help, so here's the plot description as found on the Seven Pounds page: "Ben (Will Smith) is an IRS agent who is depressed and guilt-ridden about mistakes from his past. He sets out to make amends by helping seven strangers. When he meets Emily (Rosario Dawson), a beautiful woman with a heart condition,

Will Smith is back with Seven Pounds
Just when you thought this winter is not going to have any surprises. Here comes a sneak preview from the towering new film starring Will Smith called Seven Pounds. I was totally not expecting anything after he did one of the worst movies of the year Hancock. But the trailer sort of brings us memories of his The Pursuit of Happyness days. So this is surely going to be something true fans of the star are going to check out. He reunites with the director and producer of The Pursuit of Happyness for a real em

Is Seven Pounds The New Pay It Forward?
We learned a long time ago to always, always take Will Smith seriously. The man can do anything - fight aliens or zombies, be Ali, love German shepherds, etc. Mr. Smith is on a winning streak: last year I Am Legend made a truckload of money. Ditto last summer's Hancock (which we maintain was secretly Jason Bateman's movie, but whatever). But now we've come upon the trailer for actor's next film, Seven Pounds. The story, as far as we can tell, is about a man who did something really bad (we'll guess murderou

'Seven Pounds' Trailer Helps Everyone It Touches (Up to Seven People)
Whoops, sorry for the late start. Here's the trailer for Seven Pounds, more aggressive melodrama from the Pursuit of Happyness team of director Gabriele Muccino and dramatic thespian Will Smith. Smith did some undefined wrong in the past, and now he's going to help some people in a unmentionable way. I can't take all the vagueness and touching, Pax Network-level drama! He's totally going to heal Rosario Dawson's heart condition and bring sight to Woody Harrelson's blind eyes, because Will Smith is a

Men in Black 3
In has been in the rumor wheel that a third installment of the popular franchise Men In Black is thinking about making another movie.  “The challenge is getting the script right and finding a time when our busy stars are available,” says a source close to Parkes, producer. But everyone including Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones, wants to do another.” With that said I hope that a third movie comes but with Will Smith’s busy schedule who knows if this idea Will ever get off the ground.

Will Smith Is An Enigma Wrapped In Confusing Hidden In A What?
A new trailer showed up this weekend for a Will Smith drama from the director of The Pursuit of Happyness (aka The Best Director) called Seven Pounds, and it is one of the most confusing things I have ever seen. Whoops. I think when you wrote "All Ben Thomas has is a plan" you meant to say "All Ben Thomas has is a coy smile." I've never been more confused by a movie trailer. What is this movie about? It's a stirring drama about a man whose name may or may not be Ben who goes around possibly helping but

Men in Black 3 still possible?
Long running, are the rumours of Men in Black 3. But it might be that we are inching towards it actually being made. One of the executive producers says he's waiting on the script, and the two stars. I remember liking the first film, but I can't really remember the second blowing me over. Maybe a third Will be a return to form. Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones starred in the first two Men in Black films. They played two agents of a secret organization who policed the activiti

Givin' It Up
I hate it when trailers tell you everything about a movie except the final beat, so you'd think I'd be receptive to the plot vagueness in this recently posted trailer for Seven Pounds, the Will Smith movie coming out on 12.19. But it bothered me. "What's going on here?" I was saying to myself. I got the part about Smith being shattered by something he did and wanting to help others in a kind of Pay It Forward vein, but what's the shot? You have to search around on the Seven Pounds IMDB page -- a
