The Wolfman : Universal Pictures released the first "Wolfman" poster just yesterday, but it was only a shot of Emily Blunt hiding in the woods. Now, we have the second poster that focuses more on the title character. Check it out below. Based on the 1941 classic of the same name, "The Wolfman" tells of Lawrence Talbot (Del Toro), an actor who returns to the home of his estranged father (Anthony Hopkins) after the death of his brother. Familiar awkwardness becomes the least of his problems when he is attacked...

Official Poster for 'The Wolfman' Debuts: PHOTO
The official poster for director Joe Johnston's The Wolfman hit the web today. It's a nice moody splash of high contrast black and white featuring Emily Blunt, which seems to be designed to suggest the presence of The Wolfman, rather than show him outright. Check it out directly below.

Two New 'Wolfman' Posters, And One Is Even Good: PHOTO
What to do about The Wolfman ? Originally, this was a fantastic idea. Universal was going all the way back to its vaults and reintroducing the monster movies of the 1930s, most of which have stood the test of time. You had Rick Baker doing make-up effects (the created the Oscar in that category for his work on An American Werewolf in London , still unsurpassed), and Mark Romanek ( One Hour Photo ) lined up to direct Benicio Del Toro , Anthony Hopkins , Emily Blunt , and Hugo Weaving . Romanek...

The Wolf Man Posters
That could be the title of my debut novel. Two new posters for Woflman hit the web yesterday via AICN and Cinematical ( this I can deal with, unlike individual ‘9′ posters exclusively given to 48 sites, 44 of which I’d never want to visit). This film as a great quartet of names to headline in Emily Blunt, Anthony Hopkins, Hugo Weaving, and Benicio Del Toro! Previously we’ve posted multiple trailers and some images from the film. I dig these posters, particularly the...

Update: 2 Wolfman Teaser Posters Claw Online: PHOTO
Update: Okay, there are two teasers posters. The second just went live at AICN (it actually features The Wolfman. So whatever we wrote below? That's us with egg on our face. Teaser one-sheet art for Universal Pictures' upcoming remake of The Wolfman premiered at Cinematical this afternoon. Ominous, but underwhelming. It's a shot from the trailer - featuring co-star Emily Blunt - that has been used for banners, um, but where's The Wolfman, exactly? At least have him prowling about in the...

2 New WOLFMAN Noir Poster: PHOTO
When you watch the theatrical trailer for The Wolfman , you’d notice that the movie will have color but Cinematical and AICN both have received 2 separate character posters, Emily Blunt and Benicio Del Toro as The Wolfman but both images are in dark noir style. They really take you back to the classic Universal film that launched a legacy of horror Check them out in all their glory after the jump and click on them to enlarge … The Wolfman opens February 12th, 2010

New Poster for THE WOLFMAN Starring Benecio Del Toro and Emily Blunt: PHOTO
If you need an example of how smart marketing can turn around naysayers on a film, look no further than Joe Johnston’s “The Wolfman”. After the bad buzz generated by the switch in directors from Mark Romanek (”One Hour Photo”) to Joe Johnston (”Hidalgo”) coupled with constant kicks in the release date (the film was first intended to open on November 12, 2008) “The Wolfman” will finally hit theaters on February 12, 2009. Coupled with its most recent and

Here is a WOLFMAN Poster We can be Proud of: PHOTO
I was at the movie theater last night and saw this new poster for Universal’s The Wolfman in the lobby. When I went to look for it online, the only thing I found was the Emily Blunt poster we posted earlier today, the one that had no Wolfman in it. Then all of a sudden The Wolfman poster I saw in the theater popped up over on AICN . I really like the new poster, like the first one we featured this is has got a dark gritty film noir type feel to it. According to Joe Johnston he wanted the...

'The Wolfman' Teaser One-Sheet Poster: PHOTO
The teaser one-sheet art for Universal Pictures' upcoming remake of The Wolfman premiered at Cinematical this afternoon. The one-sheet features co-star Emily Blunt but no sign of The Wolfman, which I guess is supposed to add more suspense to the image.
