NEW YORK -- The top broadcast and cable television news anchors left the storm-drenched Gulf Coast today and headed to St. Paul, Minn., to report on the Republican National Convention as it resumed a full schedule. CBS' Katie Couric, ABC's Charles Gibson and NBC's Brian Williams will arrive in Minnesota in time to anchor tonight's news specials about the GOP gathering, which was drastically scaled back Monday because of Hurricane Gustav.
