Costas Mandylor: Lionsgate has revealed the plot for Saw V, coming to theaters on October 24.

The studio says that in the fifth installment, Hoffman (Costas Mandylor) is seemingly the last person alive to carry on the Jigsaw (Tobin Bell) legacy. But when his secret is threatened, Hoffman must go on the hunt to eliminate all loose ends.

The full cast also includes Scott Patterson, Betsy Russell, Mark Rolston, Carlo Rota, Julie Benz, Greg Bryk, Laura Gordon and Meagan Good. David Hackl is directing the horror-thriller from a script by Patrick Melton and Marcus Dunstan.

Dexter to become a video game
The life and adventures of the dark serial killer Dexter Morgan from the Showtime’s “Dexter” will be the subject of a new video game produced by Marc Ecko Entertainment.
