The race card: Did Obama play it or is McCain playing games?
John McCain thinks Barack Obama is playing the race card. The Republican presidential candidate and his staff were upset by a comment Obama made on the campaign trail. During a campaign speech, the Illinois Democrat told supporters Republicans were trying to make voters scared of him. “What they’re saying is, well, we know we’re not very good, but you can’t risk electing Obama. You know, he’s new, he’s — he doesn’t look like the other presidents on the currency. He — you know,

McCain campaign manager Rick Davis explained in a conference call with reporters: "What we decided to do is find the top three international celebrities in the world, and I would say from our indications, Britney and Paris came in second and third. "It is not our campaign that is trying to make him into an international celebrity," Davis added.

Obama on Paris: Never Met The Woman
Barack Obama didn’t let a little rain keep him from ribbing John McCain about his latest anti-Obama ad at a Missouri cookout — ridiculing the McCain campaign for comparing him to Paris Hilton. “Since they don’t have any new ideas the only strategy they’ve got in this election is to try to scare you about me,” Obama told the crowd of 100 gathered under a picnic shelter. He’d used that line of attack throughout the day. “They’re going to send out nasty emails. The latest one, they’ve

The Terror Gang Both Barack Obama and John McCain are chomping at the bit to use military force, a strategy that, according to a recent Rand center report, is effective only 7% of the time. The study also asserts "there is no battlefield soluton to terrorism," (AP) that the phrase "war on terror" only perpetuates what is essentially a criminal act, and what we already know, that there is no such thing as a terror "war." Indeed, the think tank financed by tax dollars says good intelligence, and policing, are

Ludacris Hypes Obama, Knocks McCain
Grammy Award-winning rapper Ludacris has released a new song called "Politics: Obama is Here", in which he disparages Hillary Clinton, Jesse Jackson and John McCain but has nothing but praise for Barack Obama, whom he asks to make him his vice president or give him "a special pardon if I'm ever in the slammer." Ludacris, who has clashed with Fox News' Bill O'Reilly and Oprah Winfrey in the past, uses some irreverent language in the new song and encourages black Americans to propel Obama to victory and "

Paris fights back, and is pretty witty doing it...check out the video!!
Thanks to John McCain, Paris Hilton realizes that she's, like, totally ready to lead! The seemingly oblivious heiress has taped a response, posted on FunnyOrDie.com, to the new McCain ad comparing Barack Obama to paparazzi magnets like Paris and Britney Spears. And, well...it's pretty funny. In the video, Paris introduces herself as a celebrity—like McCain, who's "old enough to remember when dancing was a sin." "I'm a celebrity, too. Only I'm not from the olden days, and I'm not promising change like

Obama or McCain?
Yep, I went there. I want to know who you guys are voting for! I am NOT going to tolerate people bashing each other, or calling Obama a terrorrist, etc. As most of you know, I am voting for Obama. I am not a fan of republican views (look where it's got us now!) and am ready for a democrat in office. Sure, I will lose money out of it, because voting republican would probably HELP my pocket book, but voting for Obama helps my family, who are a bunch of blue collar badasses. I was shocked at how republicans

Scarlett Johansson embarrassed by Obama emails

Nobody would even talk about it," she said. Aww poor Scarlett. I can think of many other things to be embarrassed about. His new campaign ad mocks Barack Obama for being a celebrity, but John McCain spent his weekend meeting with an unusual range of celebs himself. Today the Arizona senator is expected to meet with Frederick W. and Kimberly Kagan, inside-the-Beltway neoconservative luminaries. Frederi

The Green Picture: Ryan Reynolds’ Obama-Hybrid
Handsome and funny…is actor Ryan Reynolds. (That was like a Yoda sentence.) Now, I can add smart and democratic to describe this Hollywood A-lister. He was photographed in Beverly Hills with his Prius Hybrid which is modeling an Obama bumber sticker on its ass. That’s one hot eco-badonkadonk!

Ludacris' Obama song unlikely to alienate voters
Ludacris' new song, "Politics as Usual," may have cost him one of his biggest fans, Democratic presidential hopeful Barack Obama. And for good reason: It points up the dilemma facing the nation's potential first black president, who wants the support of the influential hip-hop community but needs to steer clear of the controversy so commonly associated with its music. Ludacris' "Politics as Usual" alludes to an imminent victory for Obama by handing out major put-downs to his rivals. It dismisses Hilla

Paris Hilton is pissed!
Paris Hilton is pissed at John McCain! She's blasted the McCain camp for using her image without permission in his attack ad against Barack Obama. In the ad (which you can see below), McCain attacks Obama for being the "biggest celebrity in the world," and flashes an image of Paris, but then questions whether Obama is "ready to lead." But Paris never gave her permission for her likeness to be used, and is in no way affiliated with the McCain camp (though her parents, Rick and Kathy Hilton, have contri
