It's 2018 and John Connor (Bale) is leading the human resistance against Skynet and its army of Terminators. Connor must decide whether Marcus has been sent from the future, or rescued from the past. As Skynet prepares its final onslaught, Connor and Marcus both embark on an odyssey that takes them into the heart of Skynet’s operations, where they uncover the terrible secret behind the possible annihilation of mankind.

Awesome 'Terminator Salvation' motion poster
Sony has just released something really cool to promote McG's upcoming sequel "Terminator Salvation." What I'm talking about is a flash motion teaser poster. You can check out the whole thing after the jump. Of course there's nothing that unusual about awesome flash animations, but the concept to create an animated one-sheet with effects and sound is still pretty intriguing. I wish more theaters had LCD screens to dispay posters such as this one. Starring Christian Bale, the film follows John Connor, wh

Terminator Salvation Running Time
In a recent interview with a German Newspaper McG revealed the running time for Terminator Salvation. I was really concerned they might tone this movie down to much and give it a really brief running time but it seems we can all rejoice. The epic 4th film in the series will get a 2hour and 10 minute running time which is enough time to really deliver an awesome apocalyptic tale. In the highly anticipated new installment of The Terminator film franchise, set in post-apocalyptic 2018, Christian Bale st

New Terminator Salvation Poster
Earlier we showed you the new Terminator Salvation Poster in all its animated goodness. Now we have the non-animated version for you to enjoy. Nothing different other then it doesnt move. In the highly anticipated new installment of The Terminator film franchise, set in post-apocalyptic 2018, Christian Bale stars as John Connor, the man fated to lead the human resistance against Skynet and its army of Terminators. But the future Connor was raised to believe in is altered in part by the appearance of Marcus

Terminator Salvation Running Time Revealed? Josh Brolin was Almost a Terminator!
Remember earlier in the year when rumor spread across the interwebs that Josh Brolin would be playing a Terminator in McG’s Terminator Salvation? Well it turns out there was something to the rumor after all. Brolin admitted to MTV that he was in talks to join the production. “Yeah. I talked to Christian [Bale] for a couple hours,” Brolin told MTV. “I really liked the script though I hear that’s not what they filmed. The one I read was very interesting and dark. Ultimately though

Brolin on Terminator Salvation
Josh Brolin reveals a little inside knowledge on Terminator Salvation, revealing that he was offered a role and even considered joining and although he didn't and hasn't been involved in the production since, he has some interesting comments on the film. Not all seems to be as good as the footage to date would suggest, and while the script that Brolin read was something to get excited about, it might not be what's on film. Are we going to get another poor Terminator film? A

Josh Brolin turned down TERMINATOR SALVATION
The much wanted Josh Brolin has told MTV that he did indeed turn down a role in the upcoming Warner Bros. revival of the TERMINATOR franchise because he ultimately felt “it didn’t feel right”. McG boastingly told the world earlier in the year that he was going after Brolin who at that point had just come off an incredible 2007 and had just seen himself cast as George W. Bush in Oliver Stone’s W. In the end, Brolin turned WB down and Sam Worthington instead took the role of Marcus.

Why Josh Brolin Walked Away From Fighting Terminators [Terminator Salvation]
It's shocking to think that the incredibly talented Josh Brolin would walk away from the chance to fight Terminators, but his explanation as to why he bailed on McG's Terminator Salvation has me a bit worried. In an interview with MTV he opened up briefly about why he wasn't going to get involved with T4: “Yeah. I talked to Christian [Bale] for a couple hours,” he said. “I really liked the script though I hear that’s not what they filmed. The one I read was very interesting and dark. Ultimat

Awesome Terminator Salvation Poster
Opinion on the forthcoming Terminator: Salvation has been mixed to say the least. However, with each new bit of news it would appear that director McG has done the unthinkable - firstly he may have finally made a decent film, and secondly (and more importantly) he may also have made a damn good Terminator film. Who’d have thunk it?   And now we have the first look at the film’s poster and guess what? It looks fantastic! Check it out below: Pretty damn impressive! However

Josh Brolin on the Terminator That Might Have Been
McG revealed that he was eyeing No Country for Old Men star Josh Brolin to play one of Skynet's cyborg killing machines in his upcoming sci-fi reboot Terminator Salvation. It never happened, of course, and the role of hunting down Christian Bale's John Connor eventually went to the lesser-known -- though still special, in his own way -- Australian actor Sam Worthington. In a recent interview with MTV, Brolin revealed that his possible involvement with T4 was more than wishful thinking on the part of McG.

Terminator Salvation Has A Small Penis
I'm looking forward to Terminator: Salvation. For one, I like Apocalyptic nightmares. For two, they cast Christian Bale as John Connor, thereby embracing the first rule of the modern action movie which is "cast Christian Bale in it." But that doesn't mean I don't have my reservations. Namely, it's being directed by McG. Did you know that's an adult? An adult picked that name. He probably just switched to DIET Mountain Dew because of his slowing metabolism, and thinks that taking out all but one of your earr

Josh Brolin Almost Became a Terminator in a Darker Version
From Brand Walsh in Goonies to George W. Bush, actor Josh Brolin has made one hell of a comeback. In a recent chat with Brolin, MTV uncovered a rather interesting tidbit of news on Terminator Salvation. Apparently at one point, director McG said that Brolin would be his ideal choice for a Terminator, but in the end that fell through. When Brolin was asked about the role, he said that, "I talked to Christian [Bale] for a couple hours." And what did he get out of it? "I really liked the script though I hear t

Brolin Talks T4
Many moons ago, the net was buzzing with rumours that Josh Brolin had a role in McG's upcoming Terminator Salvation, possibly playing a terminator. That rumour has since been dispelled, but according to Brolin himself, it was at one point a possibility. Yeah. I talked to Christian [Bale] for a couple hours. I really liked the script though I hear that

Josh Brolin Is Making Me Nervous About “Terminator Salvation”
Forget James Cameron’s “big steaming pile” diatribes, this is coming from someone who’s actually read the script. Josh Brolin talked to MTV recently about his near-miss with Terminator Salvation (he presumably would’ve played the Sam Worthington role), saying: “I talked to Christian [Bale] for a couple hours. I really liked the script though I hear that’s not what they filmed. The one I read was very interesting and dark.” As for how it all turned out, Brolin of

Terminator Salvation's Explosive Full-Motion Poster Debut
The end begins. A full-motion poster (watch it - you'll see) for Terminator Salvation has been launched today online. Officially, it's a Flash poster that explodes and collapses and crumbles to form a Terminator face. It's actually pretty awesome, so I'd suggest you check it out. While I know there are a lot of theaters that have been installing digital poster systems, the numbers are quite dismal, which means only a lucky few with actually get to see this full size. The rest will have to deal with a small

Terminator Salvation Gets a Fiery New Animated Poster
Creative marketing is all the rage these days, and while this isn’t the most creative thing we’ve seen this year it is pretty damned cool. The folks behind McG’s Terminator Salvation have released a brand new flash-driven poster for the film that shows the progression of Los Angeles over the course of a few years in the future. As you might imagine, L.A.’s landscape changes a bit as the machines begin to take over. To get the full effect of the poster you should really click here an

The poster is cool enough on its own, I guess, but click on it and watch what happens. It's a full-on Flash poster over at the Sony site. Pretty cool. I'm confused by a couple of things: A) Wasn't this called Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins once upon a time? It's now listed on IMDB as just Terminator Salvation. I guess we'll figure out if there really was a name change in the next couple of months. B) What's with the "Coming Soon" on the poster? Is it not going to be May 22nd n
