The Men Keep It Classy and Classic For Golden Globes

Tom Cruise: There weren't a whole lot of bright colors for the men on the red carpet at last night's Golden Globes but if it ain't broke, there's no use in fixing it. Even without taking any chances, the boys looked great on a sunny LA day that allowed for some of them to sport their sunglasses. Tom Cruise looked fantastic as his wife was performing her last show on Broadway before immediately heading to LA to meet up with her husband for the after parties. Brad Pitt didn't leave Angelina's side while Leonardo had Kate Winslet on his arm for the photos. Some of our favorite TV stars like Jon Hamm, David Duchovny, and Kiefer Sutherland got to mingle with the big screen elite and everyone cleaned up well for the big show. Be sure to check out all the ladies on the red carpet and see the list of winners here. Now, back to looking at these handsome men. Golden Globes After Parties: Dancing, Whiskey And Cigarettes
BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. — Two years ago, several Golden Globe Awards after-parties raged at once at the Beverly Hilton Hotel, with movie and television stars co-mingling, braving the chilly night air and sometimes waiting in line for hours to get into lavishly decorated bashes. On Sunday night, a year after the writers' strike shut down the awards show ceremony and its onsite parties, the weather was much warmer and alcohol flowed again throughout a spate of shindigs at the hotel, though fewer than befor

2008 Emmy Men: Mark Wahlberg Needs No Entourage
If you're a guy, most likely, you're just going to show up to any given fancy red carpet event wearing a tuxedo. Seriously, it's like a sea of well-behaved penguins. But a guy always looks good in a tux, so why mess with a recipe that clearly works? First off, we have Mark Wahlberg who I believe showed up to the 2008 Emmy Awards alone and looking very happy and with good reason. He looks very debonair to be sure, but I still don't understand why guys do that half beard, half stubble nonsense. It just loo

Who, Besides Anne Hathaway, Will Win a Golden Globe This Weekend?
Given our hilarious rate of success in forecasting last year's winners, we really have no business at all making predictions about this Sunday's Golden Globes — but don't expect that to stop us! And this may be the most predictable awards season ever, but one should never underestimate the Hollywood Foreign Press Association's tendency to throw curveballs or Vulture's amazing ability to be wrong about things. At least we feel pretty good about Anne Hathaway's chances! The rest of our picks, after the

Watchando In The Afternoon: Is Getting Sauced On Her Wedding Night. Mildly Sauced.
A wedding at Taco Bell? These mojones totally stole our venue. Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt straight-up ignored Ryan Seacrest on the Golden Globes red carpet. They probably couldn't see him, what with their noses so firmly embedded in their own asses. [PopCrunch] Tom Brady and Gisele are engaged. Again. [People] Jeremy Piven says he was "crippled" by his high levels of -cocaine- mercury. (Cocaine.) The Golden Globes: Too Much Kate, Not Enough Ricky and an Actual Oscar Race
For all the problems we have with The Golden Globes--they're haphazardly produced, completely ridiculous and totally second rate--we cannot stress how much fun it is to watch them each year. Mostly, that has to do with the fact that the stars drink during the ceremony. A lot. Last night, after Slumdog Millionaire won for Best Screenplay, the camera cut to a relaxed looking Brad Pitt, who leaned over to Angelina Jolie and asked, "What was that for?" Do you think you'd see something like that at the Oscars? W

Golden Globe Gay Moments? Were There Any?
That nice Kate Winslet fared well. Dustin Hoffman and Emma Thompson were charming to watch together onstage. Tina Fey told online haters to "suck it!" (Yay!). Director Darren Aronofsky playfully flipped winner Mickey Rourke the bird, which made it on air (in the live telecast anyway). And Colin Farrell is back to looking scorchingly hot again these days... Hurrah!
