David Hasselhoff: TMZ has learned David Hasselhoff checked himself into UCLA Medical Center this weekend, but the buzz that it's for rehab is bogus.

We're told Hoff had something removed from above his eye last week. It was stitched up but somehow the wound reopened on Saturday and it was bleeding like a mutha.

Hoff's assistant became concerned and took him to UCLA. It's bad enough that he'll probably be there until tomorrow.

Hey, UCLA docs -- don't peek at the Hoff's chart, or else!

"Knight Rider" and "Tales of the Hoff"
NBC is bringing back "Knight Rider," tapping Doug Liman to produce a "Transformers"-inspired reworking of the 1980s hit action-drama series about a man and his indestructible supercar.  Peacock is readying a two-hour backdoor pilot for the project, with tentative plans to air it as a telepic later this season. Liman is open to the idea of directing, assuming his feature sked allows. If the telepic clicks, a new-model "Knight Rider" could be on the air as early as next fall. For full story click here Al
