Michael Phillips and Richard Roeper roast 'Medellin' in 'Entourage' season premiere
"Entourage" returns Sept. 7, and if Vince Chase and his posse were hoping for some positive reviews for "Medellin," their drug-lord drama, they're dashed in the season premiere's opening moments. "At the Movies" is on the TV in Johnny Drama's apartment as the episode begins, and Eric is watching the film-review show as Sun-Times columnist Richard Roeper and Tribune film critic Michael Phillips pan Chase's overwrought film. (Roeper and Phillips, as it turns out, are no longer with that program; a new vers

Entourage Season Five Is Ready for Takeoff
Adrian Grenier and his Entourage headed to JFK airport Thursday to celebrate the Virgin America's maiden voyage from New York to LAX. Before taking their seats in first class, the guys popped a little bubbly to get into the partying mood. Seems like life is starting to imitate art for the guys and their glamorous lives, even if Vinny Chase's career will start out at a low point in the season premiere Sunday night. 2008 Emmy Men: Mark Wahlberg Needs No Entourage
If you're a guy, most likely, you're just going to show up to any given fancy red carpet event wearing a tuxedo. Seriously, it's like a sea of well-behaved penguins. But a guy always looks good in a tux, so why mess with a recipe that clearly works? First off, we have Mark Wahlberg who I believe showed up to the 2008 Emmy Awards alone and looking very happy and with good reason. He looks very debonair to be sure, but I still don't understand why guys do that half beard, half stubble nonsense. It just loo

Entourage: Unlike a Virgin
Filed under: OpEd, Entourage, Episode Reviews, Reality-Free (S05E02) "No indies E! Think of it like the Holocaust - never again!" - Ari Ever since the beginning of Entourage, I've been waiting for this episode. As much as I love Vince, it's been a long time coming for his "I'll do whatever the hell I want" mentality to finally come full circle and bite him in the ass. His career is in the toilet, Ari even admitted that his worth as an actor "remains to be seen," and E is officially taking his own career m

The cast of "Entourage" lent some star power to a quiet block in Maspeth recently when they filmed an episode of the popular HBO series there.Showing that they really are just a bunch of Queens boys at heart, Vince (Adrian Grenier) Eric (Kevin Connolly), Turtle (Jerry Ferrara) and Drama (Kevin Dillon) leave glitzy Los Angeles to visit Vince's mom at her modest home near the intersection of 41st Drive and 58th St. In the episode, which is scheduled to air later in the season, the stars are welcomed back to t

TV Review: Entourage 5.1
Synopsis: Six months after Medellin premiered at Cannes to a disastrous reception, the quartet is divided by the repercussions. Eric (Kevin Connolly) and Drama (Kevin Dillon) have returned to work in LA, where Eric has taken on a third client (played by Bow Wow) and Drama is living up to his name by refusing to have promo photos taken of his “bad” right side. Vincent (Adrian Grenier) and Turtle (Jerry Ferrara) meanwhile are hiding out on a beach in Mexico, relaxing, jet skiing, and feasting on

HBO Picks Up ‘Entourage’ For a Sixth Season
Fresh on the heels of its fifth season premiere last month, HBO's hit show "Entourage" has been picked up for a sixth season of more laughs and drama with the Hollywood gang of buddies. The new season will begin production early next year, says Variety. And the entire Entourage is on the list! One can only wonder what sticky situations Vincent Chase, Johnny "Drama" Chase, Eric Murphy, Turtle, and the feisty Ari Gold will find themselves in during the new season. "Entourage" stars Adrian Grenier, K

TV Recap: 'Entourage'
Well, two episodes into season five, Vince’s (Adrian Grenier) career has pretty much hit its lowest point; he’s worse off now than when he was doing those Mentos commercials! I mean, it's pretty safe to assume he’ll ascend once again in the coming episodes, but Vinnie’s currently in "movie jail," as Ari (Jeremy Piven) puts it--and frankly, it’s nice to see Entourage’s impervious golden boy step aside, however briefly, and make room for others to shine. And with the way this season is going s

Entourage Picked Up For Sixth Season
The escapades of movie star Vincent Chase and his pals continue, with HBO confirming on Monday (October 6) that the hit tv show ‘Entourage’ will be picked up for a sixth season. “‘Entourage’ is that rare phenomenon in TV: a smart, sharp comedy series that continues to evolve,” said Michael Lombardo announcing the news. The hit series follows actor Vincent Chase on his rise to the top of Hollywood along with his agent, played by the Emmy award winning Jeremy Piven, manag

If This Photo Could Talk
Our interpretation of what might have been said between the Entourage co-stars when this snap was taken last night on the Emmy red carpet… Adrian Grenier: “Kevin, buddy, the beard has to go. It’s no bueno! You're Too Short for facial hair, my Frodo friend-o. It makes you look like you're trying too hard.” Jerry Ferrara: “Seriously, Connolly. What were you thinking? It actually makes you look shorter, very 'magically delicious.' Unless you're hiding a pot o’ gold somewhere, you need to make fr

Entourage: Fantasy Island (season premiere)
Filed under: OpEd, Entourage, Episode Reviews, Reality-Free (S05E01) "Our next film is Medellin - the ultra-violent story of Colombian drug lord Pablo Escobar starring Vincent Chase in a fat-suit in bad make-up that makes him look like the love child of Jiminy Glick and a case of Twinkies." - Richard Roeper Ouch. It's been six months since Cannes, Medellin is getting a straight-to-DVD release, and people are still talking about it. One of the worst films of the year. I can't say that I'm surprised. Consid

The Boys Are Back and This Time the Entourage Is in NYC
Adrian Grenier and his Entourage all got suited up to walk the silver carpet last night at the Ziegfeld Theater in NYC to celebrate the new season starting this Sunday. We were there to chat with the stars who all looked gorgeous and were very excited to see each other giving out hugs and greetings between interviews. Unfortunately Adrian skipped any Isabel Lucas questions but joked, "We're here talking about Entourage, that's much more interesting," and lucky for us he had a lot more to say. Here's more:

ET's with the 'Entourage' Stars at the Season Five Premiere
The stars of "Entourage" hit the town to premiere the fifth season of their hit HBO series -- airing Sept. 7 -- and ET was there to get the show scoop from Adrian Grenier (Vince), Jeremy Piven (Ari), Kevin Connolly (Eric) and Kevin Dillon (Drama)....

Adrian and His Entourage Get A Lot of Action
The Entourage cast had a blast filming in NYC earlier today. They were seen hightailing it out of a club — knowing them it's probably to avoid some sort of trouble they caused — after heading to Queens to shoot some scenes earlier this week. Sounds like a homecoming is in the works for the guys, and you can get a sneak peek of the new season here. Between takes they caught up on the day's news like Hillary's big convention speech last night. While Vinny's always got his boys close by, we keep spotting

Entourage 5th Season Premiere!
I will make up any excuse to post pix up of Mark Wahlberg! So thankfully he was at the premiere last night in New York City, along with hotties, Adrian Grenier, Rex Lee, Kevin Connolly, Kevin Dillon, Doug Ellin and Jeremy Piven. Also in attendance, Jamie Lynn-Sigler and Leighton Meester (both in fugly dresses), Fashion Designer Monique Lhuillier, and Carla Gugino. .gallery { margin: auto; } .gallery-item { float: left; margin-top: 10px; text-align: center; width: 33%; }

Entourage Still Limping Along
Entourage had a big premiere in NYC last night for their fifth season, with a two episode showing at the Ziegfeld Theatre, and then a party in Chelsea. The season begins with girlfriend-less Adrian Grenier's character having orgies in Mexico, Kevin Dillon having cybersex and the short redhead trying to resurrect his career. I don't watch the show (someone who does told me the bloom is kinda off the rose for this one) but I will say that Jeremy Piven galls me to no end. Here's why: He's the biggest douch

The Entourage Is Back | Adrian Grenie Finally Shaved
HBO celebrated the Entourage fifth season premiere yesterday at the Ziegfeld Theater, NYC. And boy if the boys doesn’t look good in their suits. I’m even happier that Adrian finally shaved off his caveman facial hair. I was getting scared there for a minute. Entourage 5.2 - Unlike a Virgin
If there’s one thing I learned from tonight’s episode, it’s that the writers have no reservations about taking things slow. That’s actually good news, since it means they’re serious about the show’s future, despite the fact that some fans were probably hoping the new season would start off with a little more of a bang. All I can say is, be patient, because although the first two episodes have been relatively tame, they’ve also shown real promise for the things to come. Even Vince is taking th
