Rachel Weisz: Yesterday we reported that the rumor mill of comic book character possibilities were Rachel Weisz as Catwoman, Eddie Murphy as Riddler and Shia LaBeouf as Robin. Rumors.Today it's Marvell Universe's turn. How about recasting Tim Robbins as Howard Stark, Tony Stark's father. How do you do Ironman's father when you are literally only 7 years older than what the comic book character is now. The answer? Flashbacks. Those flashbacks apparently will involve Howard Stark in the Captain America project as well as building the A bomb in World War II. In addition, solid information indicates Hawkeye and Black Widow will play large roles in the next installment. Geard Sanders played Howard Stark in the first Ironman movie. However director Jon Favreau (Lead role in Swingers and directed Elf) has decided he needed an actor that can carry this part in the next film. The only real news is that Ironman's Downey is on board for the Avengers if it is made. LOL: The Sun Thinks They Know Batman 3
I was tagged in a Facebook note yesterday that pointed me in the direction of an article in UK’s The Sun, a rag that occasionally gets something right, but one that has grossly over-stepped their boundaries by claiming to know casting, even plot details from the anticipated sequel to The Dark Knight. And it is only ANTICIPATED at this point, which is why this makes no sense at all: FUNNYMAN Eddie Murphy will play The Riddler in the next Batman movie, The Sun can reveal. Let’s Play “Cast The Fake Batman Movie”!
It has been reported by the bastion of all things true and totally not rumored The Sun that Eddie Murphy has been slated to play The Riddler in the upcoming Batman movie. As proof of this claim, the paper put together a 10-second photoshop of Eddie wearing The Riddler's Matthew Lesko-esh get-up, replete with white hands and MS Paint eyemakeup. The image alone was enough to convince us, but then again, we comb our hair using an old rake we found behind a gas station. The paper also claims that Batman

Smattering Of Iron Man 2
All of a sudden, people have started talking about Iron Man 2 again, for a few little reasons. Although we’ll cover those reasons, we feel we should lay the groundwork for why Iron Man 2 is such a tricky little film for Jon Favreau. The second Iron Man needs to take the Marvel universe and unite it with the Captain America movie and  Kenneth Branagh’s Thor to eventually launch an Avengers  movie featuring a whole bunch-o-heroes. Tim Robbins Rumored for 'Iron Man 2'
Jon Favreau directed a movie called Zathura a few years ago. It was pretty good, actually. Tanked, but it was OK. Perhaps he developed a good rapport with Tim Robbins, who played the father in that film, and perhaps, Favreau's heart went out to Robbins for the failure of City of Ember, among the year's biggest flops. Coincidentally, Tim Robbins played the father in that one, too. He was also a dad in Mystic River, and well, that could've ended more happily. There are reports swirling that
