Hard Fall: What Happened to NBC?
On Tuesday afternoon, Phil Griffin, the president of cable-news network MSNBC, had had enough of the interviews and was getting angry.
Roughly 48 hours earlier, Mr. Griffin had announced his decision to remove Keith Olbermann and Chris Matthews from anchoring big political nights for his network. Henceforth, according to Mr. Griffin’s dictum, NBC News’ chief White House correspondent, David Gregory, would handle the news duties for MSNBC. Mr. Matthews and Mr. Olbermann would shift into purely revved-up

'Surfer, Dude' Matthew McConaughey Does Diaper Duty
Matthew McConaughey is all smiles at the premiere of his new movie Surfer, Dude. No, it's not an autobiographical tale of Matthew's shirtless life, but I'd be willing to bet there's a lot of art imitating life taking place.
Anyways, the movie will probably serve as an education aid for Matthew who enjoys teaching his newborn son how to surf. McConaughey also told Jay Leno recently that even though he enjoys a solo surf expedition now and again, he doesn't mind diaper duty--with certain exceptions.

Craig Ferguson: "Not voting is just being stupid"
What does this presidential campaign need to jazz it up? More commentary from new citizens such as Craig Ferguson. He used a monologue on Wednesday's "Late Late Show" to weigh in on the candidates and the media coverage.
He was particularly strong on the topic of voting.
"If you don't vote, you're a moron," Ferguson said. "Not voting is just being stupid. Voting is not sexy. Voting is not hip. It is not fashionable. It is not a movie. It is not a videogame. ... Frankly, voting i
Saturday Night Live: Jimmy Fallon Gets Own Show
In a move that a critic warned would “spark late-night chaos,” NBC announced that Jay Leno would leave his spot on The Tonight Show on May 29, 2009. On June 1, The Late Show host Conan O'Brien would take over his spot. Previously, O'Brien was promised by NBC that he would soon be moved to the earlier spot once Leno retires for fear of losing him to another network. This, of course, is all grounded on the fact that NBC has historically had the lion's share of ratings during this

Barack Obama made light of his "lipstick on a pig" remark on Wednesday's Late Show With David Letterman, calling the hype part of the “silly season” in politics.
