Whatever you want to say about her, Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin is a ratings magnet.
She helped ABC win Thursday in evening news and in late night.
ABC's "World News With Charles Gibson" offered the first interview with Palin since she became Sen. John McCain's running mate. ABC and Gibson attracted 9.7 million viewers, easily beating NBC's Brian Williams (7.5 million) and CBS' Katie Couric (6.2 million).
