In general, I'm still very antsy abo

Oscars to Whoopi: We're Sorry
Whoopi Goldberg's omission from an Oscar montage – perceived by her and others to be a slight that left the View host in tears – was "an absolute oversight," the award show's producer tells PEOPLE.
"No harm was intended, and I feel very, very badly that she was left out," Gil Cates said Tuesday. "I'm going to call her and tell her that."
Although described as a montage of hosts, the piece shown at Sunday night's telecast on ABC was actually "supposed to be a montage of 80 exciting moments of the
Weekend Movie Forecast: Traitor, Sukiyaki Western Django
Don Cheadle and Guy Pearce star in Traitor, a terrorist thriller conceived by Steve Martin that the Village Voice calls "uneven yet engrossing." In it, Cheadle plays an American-born mercenary who at age nine witnessed his Sudanese Muslim father die in a car bombing. When the flick finds him as an adult, he's seemingly gone from U.S. Special Ops to selling explosives to jihadists, with Pearce as the FBI agent on his tail. The Voice says, "Cheadle is stiff and self-conscious here... and he isn't helped by th

Emily Mortimer: Finding the darkness within the perky
For a while Emily Mortimer seemed to specialize in characters not unlike herself: sweet, vulnerable, even a little scattered or ditzy. She was a neurotic, insecure actress in Nicole Holofcener's "Lovely and Amazing"; Steve Martin's hapless, bumbling assistant in the "Pink Panther" remake; and, in the role that probably put her on the map, the oblivious upper-class wife of the brooding Jonathan Rhys Myers character in Woody Allen's "Match Point." In that film her rival for Rhys Myers's attention was Scarlett
