Speaking of Julia Stiles....

Julia Stiles: Julia StilesI saw her the other day in a CVS looking at magazines, perhaps to see who were the current it girls. She still looks cute as a button and looks about 24 at the oldest though I think she is in her late 20's now. Anyway, she hasn't had a film in a while except for The Bourne Ultimatum and the ill-fated The Omen but those seem long ago in film world. I did read that she is finally adapting the Sylvia Plath novel, “The Bell Jar,” for the screen. Because Lord knows audiences have just been dying to see the live-action film of that page-turner. If you may recall, in Julia's breakout role in “10 Things About You,” opposite the now deceased Heath Ledger, her character Kat loved Sylvia Plath. This brings us to our point. News Bites: '10 Things' Heads to TV, Haters, and More
A long time passed since 10 Things I Hate About You hit the big screen. Julia Stiles got Bourne, Joseph Gordon-Levitt has become a powerhouse on the indie scene, and Heath Ledger ... we know what became of him. I'm guessing that his death and reminiscing moments about his work is what inspired this next piece of news: Ace Showbiz reports that ABC Family is going to make the Shakespeare-inspired film into a television series, with the film's director, Gil Junger, signed on to helm the pilot. In it, Kate and

Would You Watch a TV Version of 10 Things I Hate About You?
I was a fan of 10 Things I Hate About You, the 1999 Taming of the Shrew update that starred Julia Stiles and Heath Ledger. But could a TV series based on the story also be great — or would that be taking things too far? ABC Family is looking to find out, as they've just picked up a pilot for a potential series based on the movie. This one would focus more on the sisters, according to Zap2it: Both girls attend Padua High and must juggle their social lives, boys and their over-protective dad, but approac

Julia Stiles, sadly mistaken
Looks like Julia Stiles has been sold a real dud.  No matter how heroic your stance and how stretchy your outfit may be - that, my dear is no superhero belt.  It will not transform you into an invincible cyborg but more importantly, it is entirely powerless to save your outfit from certain destruction by clashing colours.

When Julia Stiles Led a Movement
Julia Stiles is seen out shopping in Manhattan earlier in the week. Am I the only one loving all the Save the Last Dance reruns that have proliferated basic cable these past months? Julia Stiles Should Star in RoboCop Remake
Robocop meets RoombaWe are pretty sure Julia Stiles is a robot. Also, we've always been impressed by her aura of justice and righteousness. For example, say you jaywalked around Julia Stiles, or cheated on your taxes while she was watching. We suspect she'd have something to say about it. All of this makes her an ideal choice to play the lead in the just-announced RoboCop remake, which will feature Darren Aronofsky at the helm and a budget as high as $100 million. Aronofsky is a certified visionary, so perh

Julia Stiles Is Headed For Broadway
Great, I wonder if this means there will be a swarm of paparazzi anxiously awaiting Julia Stiles outside rehearsals all the time so we can analyze what she wears every day.  I kid, I kid...only Katie Holmes has the power to make me that obsessed.  But, in all seriousness, Julia really is going on Broadway.  She'll be starring in a two character play called Oleanna. Julia talks about the role saying, "By the end of the play pretty much everyone hates me. But I only know this will be my firs

The Lego Ultimatum
? Why is it that we like the Bourne trilogy so much? Well, first and foremost there's Julia Stiles, of course. Then there's Matt Damon, one of our favorite actors. And last but certainly not least, there's the action packed fight scenes. And the best one of all is the one in Morocco, involving a book (Bible? Koran?).   Now what would one do if one had way too much time on ones hands, and one would like to pay a tribute to that exact scene from the Bourne Ultimatum? Right on. One would re-enact that wh
