Bike Gang: Stop Riding Us Over Obama Plot
A motorcycle gang reportedly connected to the three morons suspected of trying to kill Barack Obama are up in arms -- with no sleeves of course -- claiming any link is pure hogwash.
A rep from the Denver chapter of the Sons of Silence motorcycle Club told TMZ, "Those guys have nothing to do with our organization whatsoever. Nothing. None of our guys know who they are. We heard one of them was wearing a Sons of Silence support t-shirt, but you can buy that online or at any of our swap meets."

American Apparel Spoofer Porn-sassinates Obama [Ad Remixes]
We have to say this for the porntastic anonymous American Apparel ad spoofer: he or she is just so god damn aware of the vagaries of pseudoculture that it is impossible not to admire his or her attention-getting sensibility. Unless, of course, this all turns out to be paid for by Dov Charney, in which case you can expect a very sternly worded rebuke from us. So watch out. Today, the personal (wear) becomes political; it's The Assassination of Barack Obama as imagined not by a publicity-seeking artist Yazman

The RZA Delivers Some Of The Most Astute Political Commentary Of The Season [Run-d.n.c.]
Unsurprisingly, the number of concerts and musically enhanced protest rallies surrounding the DNC in Denver this week has brought forth a more-than-equal number of blog posts covering them. You'd expect a site called Pop + Politics to be inside the events, and they've recently posted two good write-ups of Wyclef Jean's performance and his call for Latino communities to get behind Obama. But the showstopper is this video interview with the RZA, in which the Wu-Tang Clan CEO explains how "Obama went platinum"
Rage Against The Machine And Thousands of Protesters Rock the DNC ... Peacefully
DENVER — A month after whipping the crowd at Lollapalooza into a near-riotous frenzy, a strange thing happened during the Rage Against the Machine protest show on Wednesday (August 27) in support of Iraq Veterans Against the War: Things were downright ... peaceful. And, as of 7 p.m. Mountain Time, they stayed that way as several thousand protesters gathered in the shadow of the Pepsi Center, where President Bill Clinton was about to address the Democratic National Convention.
After a more than two-mi
Joe Biden Says “”Again And Again… John McCain Was Wrong. And Barack Obama Was Right”
Beau, I love you. I am so proud of you. Proud of the son you are. Proud of the father you’ve become. And I’m so proud of my son Hunter, my daughter Ashley, and my wife Jill, the only one who leaves me breathless and speechless at the same time.
It is an honor to share this stage tonight with President Clinton. And last night, it was moving to watch Hillary, one of the great leaders of our party, a woman who has made history and will continue to make history: my colleague and my friend, Senator
Anne Hathaway: "I Was Afraid of Obama the First Time I Saw Him"
Anne Hathaway admits she wasn't initially sold on Barack Obama.
"I was kind of afraid of Obama the first time I saw him," she told the Associated Press at the Democratic National Convention in Denver. "I thought, 'I've been burned by guys like you before.'
"I've been burned by politicians before that I wanted to believe in and just didn't live up to it," the newly single star explained. "And I was afraid to trust him and I was afraid to have hope when I first kind of became aware of him."
She said she ha
Quote of the Day
The hottest chick in the game, Michelle Obama, discusses her husband, Senator Barack Obama last night at the first day of the Democratic Convention in Denver:
“He was raised by grandparents who were working-class folks, just like my parents, and by a single mother who struggled to pay the bills, just like we did. And like my family, they scrimped and saved so that he could have opportunities they never had for themselves,” she said.
“And Barack and I were raised with so many of the same

BILL CLINTON SAYS “Barack Obama is Ready to be President”
I am honored to be here tonight to support Barack Obama. And to warm up the crowd for Joe Biden, though as you’ll soon see, he doesn’t need any help from me. I love Joe Biden, and America will too.
What a year we Democrats have had. The primary began with an all-star line up and came down to two remarkable Americans locked in a hard fought contest to the very end. The campaign generated so much heat it increased global warming.
In the end, my candidate didn’t win. But I’m very proud
Daddy Yankee: "The Democrats Are Lying!"
As we mentioned yesterday, Presidential hopeful John McCain has an endorsement from Puerto Rican Reggaeton musician Daddy Yankee.

“That makes two of us,” he said, bringing delegates to their feet.
“Actually that makes 18 million of us - because, like Hillary, I want all of you who supported her to vote for Barack Obama in November,” he said - referring to voters who pulled the lever for Clinton during her bruising primary fight with Obama.

Anne Hathaway Gets Political, Supports Obama
Anne Hathaway is just one of the many celebs that are in Denver for the DNC. Here are just some of her thoughts from an interview with the AP’s Danny Strong.
On the entertainment effect on politics:
“I think the entertainment industry has all good intentions when we try to come out. The thing that is unfortunate is that some of us who are maybe a little recognizable, we’ve got to come out as private citizens and support our country in any way that we can.”
On Barack Obama:
