The veteran "Face the Nation" host won't telegraph what he will ask. But he said he will be seeking more details about their potential presidencies than have been evident so far.

McCain vows to whip Obama’s ‘you know what’
AP - Republican John McCain vowed Sunday to "whip" Democratic rival Barack Obama’s "you-know-what" when the two presidential candidates meet Wednesday in their final televised debate.
McCain made that pledge as top advisers said he is weighing new economic proposals to help the nation weather the financial crisis. The Arizona senator refused to answer a reporter’s question Sunday about what plans he might be considering.

McCain to Rectify Letterman Rejection
In what was a costly PR error in someone’s strategy judgment John McCain ditched the David Letterman show last minute a few weeks ago claiming that he was on his way to sort out the country’s financial crisis. This advice had to have come from a rookie strategist because anyone with any sense would know the outcome given that David Letterman is a very sharp comedian who isn’t that fond of the Republican party, especially its current President, as it is. Surely someone in the McCain camp has been w

McCain Reschedules Letterman; Obama Receives Network Bargain
So let's see if David Letterman will ease up on John McCain now that the Republican presidential candidate is slated to appear Thursday on The Late Show. I think Dave and his writers are right now making plans to further ridicule the guy. Dave's been merciless ever since McCain angered Letterman by cancelling at the last minute September 24th over the economic crisis, claiming that he was heading to Washington DC that second, and then sitting for a NYC interview with Katie Couric instead. Obama knocks on doors, surprises voters
Barack Obama jetted back to Ohio today to spend three days preparing for his final debate with John McCain. But before he holed up with his advisers, the candidate began knocking on doors in Holland, Ohio, making his way through a neighborhood of modest ranch and split-level homes.
His move to the Toledo area comes as a new Ohio Newspaper poll puts the race at a dead heat, 48-46 for McCain. That's tightened considerably since the group's September survey had Obama down six points, 48-42.

McCain saw White House from a cell in Hanoi
Washington, Oct 13 (ANI): Republivan presidential candidate John McCain and the other US servicemen held as prisoners of war in North Vietnam in the 1960s developed a number of survival techniques.
None was quite as effective as the one former Navy pilot Richard Stratton remembers: "If you kept your mind occupied, you were going to be okay."
Stratton would imagine meticulously assembling a large glider and flying it over the Alps. Another prisoner imagined himself fishing, the Washington Post reported.
Obama Noose Poster New Low In Citizen Propaganda [The Internet]
Those people making Barack Obama monkeys and booing John McCain for saying Obama is a person "you do not have to be scared of?" Some of them have blogs! Which means they are free to put all sorts of terrible things on the Web, like the virtual poster at left, the one with Obama, a noose, and the headline, "Asphyxiation/The Fucking Solution." The gent who made that lovely thing, and posted it to his website Sunday night, said he did so in retaliation for comparably nasty images of Sarah Palin (also at left),
