Rose McGowan and the IRA: what does she know?
It’s one thing to be a movie actress portraying a character in a secretive anti-government group, but it’s a far different to be a person in real life battling a government every day. In movies, guns fire blanks; in real life, they shoot bullets.

Discuss: Rose McGowan Has Offended a Lot of Irish People
I guess when you make a movie about the Irish Republican Army and Northern Ireland's infamous "Troubles," you're bound to court some controversy. Fifty Dead Men Walking, which premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival despite legal threats from the man whose life it's based on (he has since dropped his suit), has now drawn more fire because of comments made by one of its stars, Rose McGowan.
During an interview in Toronto last week, McGowan, who plays an IRA operative in the film and whose fath

Rose McGowan’s Flirty Frock
Rose McGowan always has a slight retro vibe going on that I am really into. She is usually always sexy, but I love how she brings in some vintage elements into her looks- its almost pin up, like my other current fave, Dita Von Teese.
Rose wore this pretty yellow frock to the reopening of the Fendi store on Rodeo Drive. The star studded affair included Lindsay Lohan, Mandy Moore and a host of other Hollywood fashionistas.

She was talking about her role in Fifty Dead Men Walking adapted from the memoirs of Martin McGartland who was a British undercover agent within the IRA for years.
