'Revolutionary Road' trailer

Today in Deadpan Hyperbole: "Why Revolutionary ... [Bold Predictions]
Today in Deadpan Hyperbole: "Why Revolutionary Road is going to be a big, practically zeitgeist-defining, hit," wherein Glenn Kenny deduces that because Mad Men is a hit (though not quite), the show's viewers will race to see Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet as an ad man and his wife splintering in early 1960s Connecticut. Titanic isn't mentioned. If he isn't serious, then it's the best poker face we've seen in a long, long time. [Some Came Running]
Kate Winslet: Hanging in Times Square
We’re used to seeing her in her Mother England, but as of late Kate Winslet has been spending time the United States. And Sunday (October 5), the paparazzi caught up to her spending time in Times Square on her 33rd birthday.
The “Titanic” actress looked to be having a marvelous time hanging out with her husband Sam Mendes and a few friends while enjoying the early fall weather.

Leo’s Goatee and Russell’s Gut Can’t Save Ridley’s Scorched Bore
Body of Lies is yet another in a long, tiresome line of loud, violent, nauseating and incoherent riffs on how mercenary and inhuman the spooks in the C.I.A. are, even to each other. Pointless and plotless, it’s nothing more than a series of gut-blasting near-death experiences, with Leonardo DiCaprio sporting a goatee for gonads. The idea is that a little facial fur might make him look a little less like a Boy Scout. Wrong. Action director Ridley Scott actually expects us to buy Leo as the toughest secret
Body of Lies / *** (R)
"Body of Lies" (R, 129 minutes). A James Bond plot inserted into expertise about modern spy craft, terrorism, the CIA and Middle East politics. Its hero (Leonardo DiCaprio( is a lone ranger who operates in three countries, fabricates a fictitious terrorist organization, and survives explosions, gunfights, and brutal torture. Some elements you can believe, but too much is sensationally implausible. Co-starring Russell Crowe. Directed by Ridley Scott. Rating: Three stars.
"Body of Lies" Preview & Trailer
Out of all the fall movies, this is the one I’m most looking forward to. It’s based on Washington Post columnist David Ignatius’ 2007 novel about a CIA operative, Roger Ferris (Leonardo DiCaprio), who uncovers a lead on a major terrorist leader suspected to be operating out of Jordan.
More after the jump, including trailers…
When Ferris devises a plan to infiltrate his network, he must first win the backing of CIA veteran Ed Hoffman (Russell Crowe) and the collegial, but perhaps susp

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - Born of Hollywood, acting as a teenager, Oscar-nominated by age 19, Leonardo DiCaprio is a product of the film studio's star-making machine.
He made young women swoon in the biggest box office hit of all-time, 1997's "Titanic," but his youthful looks meant the transition to strong, leading man roles would be difficult. Yet, as he left his 20s and entered his 30s, he earned Oscar nominations for playing Howard Hughes in 2004's "The Aviator" and two years later, a gem smuggler

Why I’m not pumped for Body of Lies
Body of Lies comes out tomorrow starring heavy weights Leonardo DiCaprio and Russell Crowe. Directed by Ridley Scott (American Gangster, Kingdom of Heaven, Gladiator) this movie doesn’t need an introduction to how star-powered this high production really is. BUT, why doesn’t it seem like the big blockbuster like it should be?
Okay, I’ve seen commercials. I’ve seen the trailers. They’re pretty awesome. I’ve seen Russell Crowe promoting the film on late night tal
Love interest in Leonardo DiCaprio’s new film fears exile from Iran
Leonardo DiCaprio had to spend three months in Morocco filming his CIA thriller, “Body of Lies.” But Iranian actress Golshifteh Farahani, who plays his love interest, could face an even longer exile.
The gorgeous 25-year-old, one of Iran’s biggest stars, is the first Iranian-based actress to appear in a Hollywood film since the 1979 Islamic revolution. She wonders about returning to her homeland now that a court there is weighing whether she broke Islamic law by making the film without pe

Leonardo DiCaprio: Top Five/Bottom Five
April 20, 1999 - In a New York City deli, a woman is enjoying a slice of cheesecake with her family when she notices something vaguely familiar about the young man dining alone in the next booth. The young man returns her gaze with icy blue eyes and a clear, unspoken message, "Don't you dare tell your teenage daughter that it's me, Leonardo DiCaprio.”
Poor Leo. How could he have known at the time that the teenage girl he snubbed in that deli (on her 18th birthday, no less!) would one day become a supreme
Will Leo and Russell beat a Beverly Hills dog?
You know that Hollywood war movies are in trouble when they have to struggle to beat a Chihuahua that's already taken a lap in theaters. Leonardo DiCaprio and Russell Crowe star in Body of Lies, the industry's harshest -- and most star-studded -- film yet examining the Iraq war. But it's getting mixed reviews and will have to meet the high end of expectations, about $18 million, to beat out the Disney comedy Beverly Hills Chihuahua in its second weekend.

Russell, Leo Soar in Lies
The American moviegoer stands to regain some pride this weekend when—fingers crossed—Ridley Scott's latest thriller, Body of Lies, knocks Beverly Hills Chihuahua off the top of the box-office. Scott's latest captures "the ironies of asymmetrical warfare in the age of terror," writes The New Yorker's David Denby. The film stars Leonardo DiCaprio, "our most reliably effective young leading man," as a CIA agent in the Middle East and Russell Crowe as his Washington-based superior. The territory may
