Patrick Wilson: Samuel L. Jackson is a natural bad-ass and he convinces me every time that he’s not some you’d want to mess with. Funny thing is, he’s probably a super nice guy in real life… who knows? He’s done some work that strays slightly from this typecast and some of it I’ve really enjoyed… ‘Red Violin’ and ‘Resurrecting the Champ’ come to mind. He always goes back to those roles that we love, and I think these are the roles he is best suited for. ‘Lakeview Terrace’ is another one of these vehicles that allow for Jackson to say big and bold, without any hesitation… “I’m a bad-ass mother f***er!” Neil LaBute (Your Friends & Neighbors) directed th Read full story at wearemoviegeeks.com

Box Office Predictions (September 19-21)
Lakeview Terrace is the thriller featuring Samuel L. Jackson and Patrick Wilson as rivaling neighbors who engage in some vicious acts to force each other out of the town.  The trailer makes this film look interesting enough to attract a nice number of the mainstream audience… but I’m skipping this film simply because of its lack of depth.  Of course, I could be dead wrong, but those are just my initial reaction. My Best Friend’s Girl is the light-hearted comedy of the weekend, featuring

Patrick Wilson Ponders ‘Watchmen’ Sequel: ‘It’s Been Talked About’
These days, it isn’t a blockbuster unless there’s talk of a sequel — especially when it comes to films based on comic books. Jon Favreau’s “Iron Man” sequels are a pretty sure bet, but what about the talk of a sequel (or possibly prequel) to one-and-done stories like “300”? Heck, could “Watchmen” become a franchise? MTV News recently spoke to actor Patrick Wilson, who plays Nite Owl in the much-anticipated adaptation of Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons

Patrick Wilson on Sarah Palin: ‘I Can’t Go There.’
Patrick Wilson is living in a Watchmen world. The Florida-born actor has been gamely employed since playing a pedophile in the indie thriller Hard Candy opposite Ellen Page. But on March 6th (barring a current legal battle between Warner Bros. and 20th Century Fox doesn't delay its release), an adaptation of the most celebrated graphic novel of all-time, will hit theaters featuring Wilson in a plum role as the superhero Nite Owl. But until Watchmen hits, Wilson's got some promotin' to do, namely for Lakevie

Patrick Wilson Likes To Be “Lost”
Watchmen actor talks about the characters he enjoys playing, almost being cast as Dr. Manhattan, and the possibilities of a sequel When the Watchmen script was sent to actor Patrick Wilson, it included a note, possible from his agency, telling him to look at the Dr. Manhattan part. But months later, after producer Deborah Snyder had seen Wilson in Little Children, he was told to look at Dan Dreiberg. There was a sense of loss in Dan and a real sadness, that you sort of saw in 'Little Children. Ev

Watchmen 2: Wrath Of Electric Boogaloo [Watchmen]
It's not too soon to start talking about a possible sequel to Watchmen, Zack Snyder's movie version of Alan Moore's mega-graphic novel. Okay, sure, the graphic novel has a pretty definitive ending, and Moore never wrote a sequel. But the actors' contracts commit them to a possible sequel. Star Patrick Wilson says "we've talked about it," but nobody, including Snyder, has any clue how a sequel could work. "If Alan Moore writes it, I would love to read it," he adds. (Now that's likely.) What do you think a Wa

Lakeview Terrace Review
The Neil LaBute-directed thriller Lakeview Terrace revolves around Chris (Patrick Wilson) and Lisa Mattson (Kerry Washington), a young married couple who have the misfortune of moving in next door to widowed LAPD officer Abel Turner (Samuel L. Samuel L. Jackson Says “Oui” To Tarantino’s “Inglorious” Possibility
“Pulp Fiction” shot him to superstardom, he had a hilarious-but-intense role in “Jackie Brown,” and eagle-eyed fans might have even noticed Samuel J. Jackson behind the piano in a brief “Kill Bill” cameo. So now that Quentin Tarantino has his much-hyped script for “Inglorious Bastards” completed, and half the world has seemingly read it, will he be playing the role of African-American role? “I called him to find out if I had to learn French or not!” Jackson laughed when we asked him t

Samuel L. Jackson, M. Night Shyamalan On The ‘Unbreakable’ Sequel That Never Was, But Might Be
Love his work or hate it, there’s no denying that M. Night Shyamalan always seems to be one step ahead of the curve with his films — from the twist no one saw coming in “The Sixth Sense,” to finding new ways to scare the crap outta moviegoers with “Signs” and “The Village.” And he was even years ahead of the current comic book movie boom (for better and for worse) when “Unbreakable” hit theaters back in 2000. So that being said, is it time for Shy
