Confirmed: Chris Weitz Directing 'Twilight' Sequel (aka 'New Moon')
Well, the rumors were true, and Summit Entertainment has confirmed that Golden Compass director Chris Weitz will indeed direct New Moon, the follow-up to this year's biggest teen-vamp flick, Twilight. It's important to note that nowhere in the press release does it mention Eclipse, which means the two sequels probably won't be shot at the same time.
