I didn’t realize this, but apparently the makers of X-Men Origins: Wolverine are really capitalizing on star Hugh Jackman’s talents. More Muscle From 'X-Men Origins: Wolverine'
Well, Happy (Almost) Thanksgiving indeed. Between Australia and the flood of X-Men Origins: Wolverine news, you can't turn around without seeing Hugh Jackman's biceps somewhere this week ... not that I'm complaining. How did it take so long for him to be dubbed Sexiest Man Alive, anyway? The physique should have earned it twice over.

Fox killing another Superhero?
Fox don't have a great reputation of letting their talent develop their projects, and it looks like Wolverine is the next to be suffering from their interfering executives with an eye to produce a teenage friendly film.
Word is that the director, Gavin Hood, who is trying to make a darker Wolverine film in keeping with the original story, was almost fired by Fox, probably because he stood his ground and wouldn't turn it into a kiddie film.
Apparently it became so bad that t
From 'Street Fighter': Chun-Li's Famous Thighs Looking Less Famous
Thanks to Matt for noting that Kotaku has posted the first photograph of Chun-Li's thighs from the new Street Fighter movie. Who are these people kidding? Those are not Chun-Li thighs. As a pre-pubescent at the time of Street Fighter's release, I became intimately, almost disgustingly familiar with Chun-Li's thighs, and these aren't them. Hers are thick, muscular, firm but with an underlying softness. That's why she's good at kicking things. Because of those magical thighs.

UPDATED: That's That for Batman (in Theaters)
I hope you got your watching Batman on a giant screen out of the way this summer: Warner Bros. has dropped plans for its January rerelease of The Dark Knight in IMAX theaters. Worse yet for people who care a bizarre amount about box office profits, the film has earned $996.1 million worldwide, so it looks like, without the rerelease, its gross is going to fall just shy of a billion dollars. Unless their Dark Knight candy drive is incredibly successful.
UPDATE: Never mind. It's still happening. (Thanks, ed
Ellen gets political and likes it (so do we)
Pop culture has already shown us The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill, and now we're witnessing the politicization of Ellen DeGeneres. Since her “Yep” heard around the world 11 years ago, the popular talk show host has edged her way out of the closet of political activism. And this election cycle we've seen the most outspoken Ellen ever. It's proof that politics, when done right, is always deeply personal.
Yesterday, Ellen kicked off her show by addressing Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Pa

Kevin McKidd still Thor contender
Rome actor Kevin McKidd told IGN that he is still a contender for the lead role in Thor, and that there’s been “a lot of back and forth” about the project lately, however nothing has been determined. He acknowledged that Kenneth Branagh is directing it, a choice that makes him even more excited about the film.
Kevin McKidd was apparently in the running for the role last year when Marvel were actively working on it. They stopped briefly to ee how Iron Man would get on, and are now aiming f
