The lone debate between the two contenders was carried live on 11 broadcast and cable networks.

Queen Latifah To Spoof VP Debate On Saturday Night Live?
We don't know if Tina Fey will be back on Saturday Night Live this weekend as Sarah Palin, but if the show indeed spoofs tonight's vice presidential debate, at least one impersonator appears to be confirmed: Queen Latifah as moderator Gwen Ifill.
Entertainment Weekly's Michael Ausiello is reporting that Latifah has signed on to play Ifill on this week's SNL if the show goes ahead with a debate sketch. It would seem like a no-brainer until you actually watched the debate, which would be best described as "a
20 Sarah Palin Porn Titles We’d Like To See
Good ol' Larry Flynt. When he's not wheelin' around "Just bein Larry", he's creating ingenious political pornography. And so is the case with his latest skin flick Nailin' Paylin, featuring a porn-star-cum-Sarah-Palin lookalike whose "real" name is Lisa Ann.
But Nailin' Paylin? Really Lar? We're pretty sure you could have done a lot better than that. So here are our suggestions for 20 Sarah Palin Porn Titles. (Note: None of these titles are actually better than Nailin' Paylin.)

Debate Reaction: Debating Ifill
After a busy week, including a broken ankle and something the cablers may have touched on about a book, Gwen Ifill moderated last night's vice presidential debate. How'd it go? Some reaction:
• The Los Angeles Times' James Rainey labels Ifill a "true journalist" in his story's headline. "Gwen Ifill of PBS demonstrated abundant dignity as referee of the much-anticipated debate between Sarah Palin and Joe Biden," he writes. Rainey brought up the issue with her upcoming book, and wrote, "Regardless of

Queen Latifah on Tap to Play SNL Debate Monitor?
Will they or won't they? "Saturday Night Live" has been on a high with Tina Fey's killer Sarah Palin impersonations, now word comes that Queen Latifah may be part of the next skit -- if there is one.
Although they won't confirm, an SNL rep tells ET that "if" they do a debate sketch this weekend, they say the Queen will be there.
Fey's appearance has not been confirmed -- leaving the status of the possible debate sketch up in the air. Looks like fans will have to tune in to see if she r

French Paper Mistakes Tina Fey for Sarah Palin
Photo: Courtesy of NBCHow accurate is Tina Fey's impression of Republican vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin? Good enough to fool the French newspaper Le Soleil, which accidentally published a still from last week's episode of Saturday Night Live as an official shot of the Alaskan governor on Wednesday. Le Soleil printed an apology for the error yesterday. It's a funny mistake, but since we often have trouble distinguishing Darrell Hammond's impression of Bill Clinton from the real deal, we can em

The vice presidential debate scheduled for last night didn't happen -- at least not as envisioned by media observers with their characteristic mix of glee and dread.
Republican candidate Sarah Palin spoke in clear, concise sentences that mostly made sense, and if she didn't answer all the questions posed to her, at least she didn't tell the moderator that she'd "have to get back to ya." Neither did Democrat Joe Biden ramble or froth, mention the fictional televised speeches of FDR or accidentally call th

In January of 1991, when I was an Army lieutenant, I unfolded myself from the shotgun seat of a deuce-and-a-half truck possibly left over from the Korean War and stumbled around my unit’s newest home, which was, like all previous homes, some unknown point somewhere in the sandbox of Saudia Arabia.
