"Saturday Night Live"'s Amy Poehler is leaving the long-running NBC comedy show to give birth to her first child and focus on other projects, the Los Angeles Times reports.
But Poehler, 37, plans to stay on the show through the U.S. presidential election in November, according to the Times' Envelope section.
Instead of returning to "SNL" after her maternity leave, Poehler will prepare to star in her own NBC series from the executive producers of "The Office," the Envelope reports.
