Mary-Kate and Ashley Turn 22 – at Bonnaroo!
It may be Friday the 13th, but it's a happy day for Mary-Kate Olsen and Ashley Olsen: They celebrate their 22nd birthday today.
Yes, it's been more than 21 years since the twins first became stars – the California natives began sharing the role of Michelle Tanner on Full House before their first birthday.
According to local news reports, the Olsens have been spotted in Nashville on their way to the Bonnaroo music festival in Manchester, Tenn. The lineup for the four-day festival includes performan
Seinfeld, Bill Gates Waste 90 Seconds Not Talking About Microsoft [Advertising]
Less than two weeks after Microsoft confirmed that it had picked the Mac-loving Jerry Seinfeld as its new endorser, this ad with Seinfeld and Bill Gates is everywhere. And it is awful. I mean, it's kind of engaging to see this half-billionaire comedian kicking it in a shoe store with the many-billionaire Microsoft nerd-in-chief; but up until the final seconds, I was convinced this was an ad for Payless. And I may be stupid, but I'm still your target audience, Microsoft. Surely Sarah Silverman and Willie Nel

Photographer Mark Seliger’s Music Springs to Life With Haunting Videos
Most people know Mark Seliger as the famed photographer who shot some of Rolling Stone’s most memorable covers over the last three decades. (That one of Jerry Seinfeld posing as an Elvis impersonator? That was him.) But for the last few years, Seliger has also moonlighted as the frontman for the country-rock group Rusty Truck. This month, Seliger and his crew have released the slow-burning record Luck’s Changing Lanes, which also features collaborations with Willie Nelson and Gillian Welch and p
I'm Back! And, I love Kittens!
I’m free! I’m out of Rainn’s trunk! I faked my own death and escaped from a shallow grave. When Rainn saw me walking around set, I pretended to be a zombie so he wouldn’t try to bury me again. And, it worked! I’m free! What a crazy experience. On August 11th, I told Rainn he could post something on my MySpace page and the next thing I know I’m locked in a car for 15 days. The days were brutally hot and the nights were cold.I was touched by the number of p

John Mellencamp: The Last American Folk Hero
His voice and music are distinctive and rock oriented, yet his songwriting reflects the great traditions of Woody Guthrie, Pete Seeger, Willie Nelson and others who were deeply influenced by the nation’s heartland. Mellencamp’s latest album, Life, Death, Love and Freedom, is what the singer calls a collection of “modern electric folk songs.”
“Instead of the youthful rebelliousness of decades past, I saw an artist, parent and American who is pondering what will be left for future generations
