Oprah Winfrey: -Beyoncé Knowles says that even though she was offered "crazy money," she decided not to sell the wedding pictures of her very private nuptials to rapper Jay-Z. "It's so not worth it. If anything, if you wanna put something out, then put it out, not for (money)." But Sasha Fierce, on the other hand... -Eminem's new album probably won't be finished until the end of the year. An insider told Page Six that it will most likely drop in the first quarter of next year. "Eminem has been through a lot. He is being a perfectionist and is completely obsessive-compulsive about this album," the spy said. -Broadcasting & Cable reports that Oprah Winfrey will leave network TV in 2011 to focus on the Oprah Winfrey Network on cable. Desperate Housewives: What More Do I Need
Filed under: OpEd, Desperate Housewives, Episode Reviews, Reality-Free (S05E07) "Knock it off!" - Gaby to a creepy, clingy and too generous Virginia Last week, I mentioned how I thought the arrival of Gail O'Grady, Frances Conroy and Lily Tomlin spiced things up on Wisteria Lane. This week, they definitely brought on new spice because the three storylines got more complex and twisted. Sometimes, TV series push guest stars down our throats for sake of ratings (see Britney Spears on How I Met Your Mother for

Celebs News: Desperate Housewife Teri Hatcher strips in sexy scene
Teri Hatcher strips down to her underwear in this racy scene from the fifth series of Desperate Housewives. Her character Susan Mayer arrives at new boyfriend Jackson Braddock’s house to try and tempt him into bed. Artist Jackson, played by Gale Harold, has imposed a sex ban on his girlfriend until he finishes a painting of her. Even Susan’s sexy striptease, which shows her fabulous figure, doesn’t persuade him to break his ban. However Susan realises the wait will be worthwhile when she

Desperate Housewives Rundown Episode Six, "There's Always a Woman"
Lily Tomlin! Frances Conroy! Hooray for some great new blood on Desperate Housewives! Overall I think this week's episode is better than the others have been thus far this season, but in particular, it's so awesome to see these new ladies reinvigorating the show. Tomlin plays Mrs. McCluskey's saucy, smart-talking sister while Frances Conroy (known to Six Feet Under fans as Ruth Fisher) is a massage client of Carlos's who has a very, ah, "special" relationship with him. The theme, of course, is "dangerous

Oscar Watch: Storm Clouds Over 'Australia'
I'll wager that today's Oprah Winfrey show devoted to the Oscar-hopeful World War II epic "Australia'' -- featuring satellite appearances by Nicole Kidman, Hugh Jackman and director Baz Luhrmann (here are some advance clips) -- doesn't the mention the storm of controversy that erupted down under over the weekend. As I noted here the other day, the Sunday Telegraph reported that Luhrmann bowed to pressure from 20th Century Fox to change the ending after what the paper described as "disastrous reviews from te

At least SOMEONE has seen ‘Australia’
Some people are getting very excited about the gushing praise Oprah Winfrey heaped upon “Australia” in yesterday’s edition of her show, which was entirely dedicated to the movie. She proclaims it “the best movie I’ve seen in a long, long, long, long time,” so I guess she kind of liked it. While it’s heartening to hear warm words for the film, I think people may be placing a little too much stock in them — simply because it’s the only opinion of the film

Mosnar Communications, Inc Reveals Secrets to Get Interviews on Oprah, The View, Tyra Banks
(PR-inside.com) (Atlanta, Georgia) - Mosnar Communications, Inc a luxury PR and global marketing firm business is revolved around scoring free publicity for their clients. The firm says that landing interviews on top television shows is a great way to receive free publicity and it does not mean you have to be a celebrity just to get booked on a television show. According to CR Cataunya Ransom, Cofounder and Lead Publicist for Mosnar Communications, Inc, The Oprah Winfrey Show still tops everyone's medi

What's the Secret of Seven Pounds?
Despite an incredibly mawkish trailer, we're highly intrigued by Will Smith's latest sure-to-be hit, Seven Pounds. What is the deal with this movie? A month away from its release and we know scarcely anything about it. We were hoping for some answers when Mr. Smith and his co-star Rosario Dawson appeared with Oprah Winfrey late last week, but we had no such luck. The trio discussed Seven Pounds in very superficial terms, hailing it as "dark", "excruciating" and filled with "loss&quo

“IT’S A NEW DAY”
Will.i.am debuted his new Barack Obama-inspired music video, “It’s a New Day,” during a live broadcast of The Oprah Winfrey Show. It aired on Friday. When Will was asked by E! how he got the opportunity to debut the video on the Oprah Show: “I was [in Chicago] on election night, and I was standing next to Gayle King,” the artist said at last night’s Songs of Hope V benefit for City of Hope at L.A.’s Esquire House. “She asked me if I had anything [more] planned

Paris talks Obama; Julia Hudson’s MySpace; ‘View’ ratings; Palin bypasses Oprah
Paris Hilton was dragged unwittingly into the presidential election when John McCain’s camp featured her image in a campaign ad mocking Barack Obama’s perceived “celebrity” status. Although Hilton struck back with her own clip calling McCain a “wrinkly white-haired guy,” she never revealed which candidate had her support. After Tuesday, she told People magazine:  “The best man won. I’m so thrilled. I love Barack and I think he’s amazing. The world is d

Palin on TV? You Betcha!
The television world is Sarah Palin’s oyster. Fox News Channel’s Greta Van Susteren clinched the first interview with the former Republican vice presidential candidate. But TV’s talk and news heavyweights all want the Alaska governor: Fox’s Bill O’Reilly, Oprah Winfrey, the ladies of ABC’s “The View” and CNN’s Larry King are gunning for time with Gov. Palin. Beyond that round of potential appearances, Gov. Palin’s media future depends on her own inclinations. “She has the primary

devastated jennifer aniston: how could you!
good morning! oh i swear Jennifer Aniston cannot catch a break - she's front & center AGAIN on this week's STAR magazine (last week she was pregnant w/ twins and now she's devastated - they've got her on a tabloid fueled emotional rollercoaster) even though in my mind the story is so very tired - i think people still eat this drama up (at least the people who buy the tabloids while standing in the grocery line) someone needs to turn this into a mini-series - maybe Jennifer Love Hewitt could play jen...who c

Video: Nicole Kidman's Sunday slip
Nicole Kidman accidentally revealed the first picture of her four-month-old daughter yesterday (10.11.08). The 41-year-old actress - who gave birth to Sunday Rose, her first child with husband Keith Urban, in July - was unaware 'The Oprah Winfrey Show' had returned to air from its commercial break when Nicole showed the talk show host an intimate photograph of her daughter sleeping. As soon as the Oscar-winning star realised her mistake, she decided to show the photograph - which depicted her laying a

Nicole Kidman: “The Mother Is The Heartbeat Of The Family”
“I would love more children - but that’s up to God!” she told reporters Monday at Glamour’s Women of the Year awards in NYC. (She declined to say whether she would adopt again: “That’s too personal.”) Her newborn daughter, whom she and husband Keith Urban welcomed in July, “is amazing. She’s an easy baby,” Nicole added. “She’s giggling,” said Nicole, who showed off a photo of her daughter on Monday’s Oprah Winfrey Show.

Gossip Break: Salma’s Fashion Freak Show
Keith Olbermann, MSNBC’s liberal blabbermouth, doesn’t vote. What’s the point of tearing Bush a new asshole if you’re not going to help kick him out of office? Lame, Keith! [Gawker] Salma Hayek tried to uglify herself with weird head gear, and it kinda worked. [DListed] We love this picture of Blossom actress Mayim Bialik and her family simply because they are all in goofy hats, just like the character she once played. [Seriously? OMG!] Can’t get enough of Oprah Winfrey? Now

GLOBE MAGAZINE: Barack and Michelle Obama Plus Oprah =
When Barack was making his historic acceptance speech in Chicago, weren’t you wondering why Oprah Winfrey was squeezed into the large crowd crying on that guy’s shoulder? And, it looked like the camera crew had to work pretty hard to get a shot of Oprah’s face. This was quite a different position for Oprah who earlier in the campaign gave a big endorsement on stage with Barack and Michelle. Plus, she had that emotional show where she ‘unleashed’ hereself for Obama! following el

First Look at Sunday Rose.
Nicole Kidman appeared on the Oprah Winfrey show yesterday and finally showed the world her daughter, Sunday Rose, for the very first time. (By way of a crummy black and white wallet sized photo.) Nicole and husband Keith Urban have been very private about their daughter since having her, and have been able to fight the temptation of selling pictures to a publication for a lot of money. Also on hand to promote her new film, Australia, Nicole tells Oprah they got the idea for the name Sunday, because it&

It's Sunday Rose On Oprah
Nicole Kidman is a liar, again. Nicole Kidman appeared on The Oprah Winfrey Show and gave in to peer pressure. She told everyone and their brother that she wasn't going to show the world any pictures of Sunday Rose. I understand it stems from her desire to protect Sunday Rose, however, have you ever known a mother that doesn't show pictures of her baby? What I don't understand about it, is the fact that she said it in the first place. She would have to keep Sunday Rose under wraps for so

Awww Nicole Kidman showed off a beautiful photo of her daugther Sunday Rose on Oprah, the baby is cute!! Sunday Rose en una foto mostrada por su orgullosa mami Nicole Kidman

Oscar Watch: 'Australia' Gets Oprah's Vote
Even before Nicole Kidman and Hugh Jackman started plying her with Australian cookies and candy, Oprah Winfrey was hyperventilating about "Australia,'' which could use some good buzz after word filtered out from Down Under that director Baz Lurhmann has bowed to studio pressure for a "happy'' ending, not generally a good omen for the Oscars. "This is the movie to see over Thanskgiving,'' proclaimed Oprah on her show yesterday when she wasn't nibbling on goodies or asking the frozen-faced Oscar winner about
