‘Watchmen’ Director Zack Snyder Wants A Shot At ‘The Dark Knight’?
The past few months haven’t been easy for “Watchmen” director Zack Snyder. Between catching flack from the fanboys for dramatically altering the ending in the film from the comic, to “Watchmen” co-creator Alan Moore offering up some choice words for Snyder’s production — oh, and something about a lawsuit that could delay the film’s release — it’s no wonder that, when asked what his dream comic book project would be, Snyder mentioned a f

The release date for the “Watchmen” movie continues to reside in legal limbo, with studios Warner Bros and Fox most recently calling for the judge presiding over the case to decide when — or possibly, if — the film will make it to theaters in the near future. While the cast and crew involved with the film have generally kept mum about the lawsuit (Zack Snyder declined to comment when asked about it back in November), star Malin Ackerman (Silk Spectre II) opened up to MTV
Newest 'Watchmen' Trailer Has An Aggrieved Warner Bros. Turning Japanese [Watchmen]

Thus, there's a strong emphasis on movie president du jour Richard Nixon (winner of a fictional third term af

The film was originally going to be set in modern times, but Snyder persuaded them to set the film in its proper era of 1985, which is when the graphic novel which the film is based on was set in.
There were 3 scenes viewed in all and Sny

Open Letter From 'Watchmen' Producers Is 'Bullshit'
Ok, so yesterday evening all the blogs are abuzz because "Watchmen" producer Lloyd Levin wrote an open-letter regarding the lawsuit, 20th Century Fox and Warner Bros. and whole messy affair. It's a passionate, from-the-heart letter, but it's also a lot of selective memory, convenient omissions and a lot of bullshit frankly from a Hollywood producer. Naturally, the geeks swallowed this on their knees hook line and sinker. Basically the gist of the letter is that Fox passed on "Watchmen" and Warner Bros. nurtu
