New Zack & Miri Make A Porno Poster
Whilst not revealing anything new this has to be one of the coolest posters in a while, and there have been some truly classic ones of late. I would suggest this is a teaser pester but seeing as the actual main one-sheet for the film was doing the rounds long before this I’m tempted to think it was dreamt up purely for the ‘cool’ factor.

After the utterly ridiculous decision by the MPAA to ban the first poster for Kevin Smith's "Zack and Miri Make a Porno," the film's design team came up with an awesome new one-sheet. It may not be as provocative as the poster you will now only see in Canada (and probably in every other country not suffering from the MPAA's decisions), but it sure is a great way to make the best out of the situation. Toronto Review: Kevin Smith's Zack and Miri Make a Porno
To say I enjoyed Zack and Miri Make a Porno would be inaccurate. I loved it, every last second, right down to the mushy story about love and relationships that Kevin Smith gets to in the end. It's hilarious, it's saturated with sex, and it's charming, too. To be honest, I think Kevin Smith has actually taken a gigantic step forward, away from his previous films like Clerks and Dogma, and ventured into new comedic territory that used to only be reserved for Judd Apatow. The previous only-available-in-Canada poster was judged by MPAA as “Not OK”… I thought it was one of the F*in’ hilarious posters these eyes have ever seen and it agreed with the themes of the movie. Thanks to slashfilm, above is the ‘green band’ or ‘MPAA approved’ poster of ZACK AND MIRI MAKE A PORNO starring Seth Rogen and Elizabeth Banks in forms of stick figures. New Poster For Porno Movie Makes Light Of Censors
The new promotional poster for ‘Zack and Miri Make A Porno,’ starring Seth Rogen and Elizabeth Banks, has debuted and pokes fun at the censors who denied the previous poster’s U.S. release. Check it out here.
The initial poster for the movie was knocked back by the Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA), although it wound up being accepted by Canada, so Director Kevin Smith has opted to use stick figures instead.

The New Poster For Zack And Miri Is Kind Of Passive-Aggressive
After the first poster for Zack And Miri Make A Porno was unfairly banned for US audiences by the MPAA, Kevin Smith et. al. have come up with an unusual replacement. Rather than make another real poster or use one of the alternative posters that were surely created by studio designers, they're capitalizing on the censorship as some sort of proof that the movie is "titillating." On the one hand, "titillating" does have the word "tit" in it, so congrats on getting that one by

Our main homie Kevin Smith has unvieled a new poster for ‘Zack and Miri Make a Porno’, this will be the poster for the US since we cant handle the suggestive previous poster. I love how sensitive we all are, and the MPAA really has our back on that. When I first saw the old poster I was immediately offended and began my campaign to get it changed…bullshit.

Anything that Kevin Smith gets his hands on his gold in my book. So as you can guess I have been following his latest film Zack and Miri Make a Prono very closely. Early reviews have been very positive so far so I am eagerly anticipating its release. The poster below comes courtesy of IMP Awards and I have to say I like it. Its simple and in a way it mocks the MPAA which is what I love the most.

Banned Poster of ‘Zack and Miri Make a Porno’
The MPAA, film’s rating organization, recently banned the following poster for Kevin Smith’s upcoming movie, Zack & Miri Make A Porno, from the US.
Their reason? The suggestively placed backs of heads. This is weird, considering a similar poster from another film had no problem getting past the censors -

'Zack and Miri' Made a Poster so Filthy They Later Made This One to Replace the Initial, Filthy Poster
The MPAA rejected Kevin Smith's first Zack and Miri poster because of the implication that the back of someone's head placed at crotch level necessarily constitutes oral sex (why couldn't it be someone pleasurably tying someone else's shoe?).
