Kanye West Premieres “Love Lockdown” Vid on Ellen
Ok, that’s three, and yes, I easily could have backspaced and corrected my typ-o, but that would destroy some pretty good evidence that I’m just that sick.  Or lazy.  Nevermind. Clicking through my “Now Playing” list, I remembered that Kanye West was scheduled to appear on Ellen today and while I expected a different side of the normally-ego-obscene rapper (considering the daytime queen’s main demographic isn’t… well… me), I was surprised at how toned down,

Kanye West “Love Lockdown” Video
I’ve said before I don’t really watch videos because if you have seen one you have seen them all, but I will actually watch a Kanye video since each one is so different from his last. The simple white look in the video is inspired by American Psycho…which was one of the strangest movies I have ever seen, minus the part where Christian Bale moonwalks with an axe.  Check below. Kanye West "Love Lockdown" Video(!)
When did Ellen become a place to world premiere a rapper’s music video? Kanye West has to be breaking some ground with this move. He premiered the “Love Lockdown” video on The Ellen DeGeneres show this afternoon. Suffice to say, it’s about as weird as the song. I really liked Kanye’s live performance of “Love Lockdown” at the MTV’s VMAs. The darkened room with neon blue and red lighting and the freaky cast-offs from animated Busta Rhymes-land bangin

Ciara Video for “Go Girl”
So I forgot to mention the one type of video I WILL watch is any video where there is dancing.  I’m one of those people that thinks they can do everything in the video…until they try it and almost end up in the emergency room. I haven’t gotten through this video yet so tell me how it is…I’m too busy trying to do that split chair move.  Where I plan on using these moves I have no idea.  One day they will be of use. One day. If the video doesn’t work…click here.

Kanye West’s New Music Video: Love Locked Down
Kanye West debuted his new music video for “Love Locked Down” yesterday on Ellen. Although I am a big fan of the song, I’m not quite a fan of the video, but it is very unique and original, just like the song so I guess the two go together. Check it out and tell me what you think about Kanye’s artistic talent. Kanye West Is Hip To Be Square [Inspirations]
One thing that was left out of the clip of Kanye West premiering his video for "Love Lockdown" on yesterday's Ellen DeGeneres Show: The revelation that the clip was inspired by the movie—not the book—American Psycho, which tells the story of a sharply dressed, music-obsessed Wall Street guy who also happens to be a homicidal maniac. But wait, Kanye has something to say about that whole killing bit! "You know at the end of the movie [that] he didn't really kill anyone. [I just liked] the clean ae

Kanye West Inspired By Christian Bale's 'American Psycho'
Rapper Kanye West drew inspiration for his new video Love Lockdown from Christian Bale's killer character in 2000 thriller American Psycho. The Stronger hitmaker unveiled the promo for the new single - on which he sings all the way through - on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Tuesday. And West admitted that he based parts of his musical creation on the 1980s Wall Street murderer Patrick Bateman that Bale portrays in the big-screen adaptation of Bret Easton Ellis' novel. He told chatshow host DeGeneres, "O

HBO Shelves Kanye West's 'Curb Your Enthusiasm'-Style Show
In case you haven't heard, 10-time Grammy Award-winning rapper Kanye West has been in talks to do a TV show similar to the HBO hit Curb Your Enthusiasm for the same cable network, with Borat director Larry Charles as the frontrunner.  Recently, however, it seems that the network has curbed its enthusiasm about it. In an interview with ComingSoon.net, Charles hinted that the improvised show has been shelved, even though a pilot has already been shot. "It was really good, but…I think it

Kanye West To Play Glastonbury?
Chicago Hip Hop star wanted for Festival next year...

WTF, Kanye?
I love Kanye West. Yes, even when he gets all cocky and “I’m the greatest in the mother effing world!” I also happen to be ob-sessed with his new song, Love Lockdown. I downloaded it on iTunes 2 weeks ago and already have 189 plays (I have a problem). Yesterday, Kanye went on the Ellen DeGeneres show to debut his video for the song (what ever happened to MTV, people?) and it is…weird. Like, really weird. Like, I think I need to be one some sort of mushroom/trippy drug to understand
