LOL: Star Wars “The Force” Action Figure
Lets face it, LucasFilm is a whore when it comes to merchandising. I personally don’t have a problem with any company making money of a large fanbase. If a market exists, and fans are hungry for the product, than that’s great. But I do find it kinda sickening the extent of the outer and extended universe offerings. For example, action figures of characters who showed up in the extreme background of a scene. I found this image over on Fukung (via: TDW ) that says everything I want...

Capt. Kirk's chair coming soon to a Trekkie's living room near you

Now you can add a fourth requirement to that list: a replica of the Captain's chair. Trekkies across the country are building replicas of the Captain's chair that Kirk's alien babe loving butt sat in oh so many years ago. Zatanna, DC’s Fishnet-Stockinged Magician, Debuts On Tonight’s ‘Smallville’
Clark Kent hasn’t demonstrated too many weaknesses over eight seasons on the CW television series “ Smallville .” Mostly, it’s been Kryptonite causing headaches for the young Superman . However, Zatanna’s guest appearance on tonight’s episode, “Hex,” might prove that magic and beautiful women are just as painful as irradiated rocks when it comes to the Man of Steel.

Smallville 8.18 “Eternal” - description
Davis Bloom was created for one purpose: to kill Superman. Since his Kryptonian mother gave away Bloom’s origins, and he completely turned into Doomsday , it is actually interesting that the man hasn’t gone after Clark Kent yet and got it over with. Last week’s episode was just another wrenching look at his struggle to stay human, and you can’t help but feel for the man. The Smallville writers have certainly done a great job at painting Bloom’s tortured soul.

THE DEVIN'S ADVOCATE: WHAT'S YOUR DEFINITION OF WATCHMEN'S SUCCESS?
opened this weekend to 55 million dollars. An early March release of a hard R, nearly three hour long, almost defiantly non-mainstream, movie star free movie based on a comic book that is, probably more than I wanted to admit, niche, opened bigger than Batman Begins and Superman Returns . Those are two PG-13 films based on characters so iconic one of them is on stamps , and that opened in the summer, the traditional blockbuster period. Now, Superman Returns didn't do so hot in the

Is Mark Millar's 'Superman' Film Dead?
"Warner's talked to us and a few other writer/ director teams, but things seem to be in stasis right now. As far as I understand, nothing is happening with 'Superman' at the moment and so the director and I are just working on another project. If it happens, great. If it doesn't, no biggie."'Kick-Ass' taught me that creating your own stuff can be at least as much fun and you don't have to answer to anyone. It's the future, baby. -- Mark Millar says progress on "Superman" has stalled and he's...
