Bristol Palin Levi Johnston “Bristol” Tattoo Pictures
Wow-these Palins are looking more wholesome and “conservative” by the hour. Levi Johnston, the 18-year-old “redneck” who fathered Governor Sarah Palin’s unborn grandchild, debuted a tattoo on his left ring finger reading “Bristol,” the name of Palin’s oldest daughter, at the Republican National Convention Wednesday night.
Bristol, 17, was at the GOP Convention to watch her mother accept the Republican nomination for Vice President.

Sarah and Todd Palin insisted they wanted to protect the privacy of their 17-year-old daughter, Bristol, even as they announced on Labor Day that she is pregnant.
Then Bristol Palin and Levi Johnston, the 18-year-old father-to-be, arrived at the Minneapolis airport today for the Palin family greeting of Sen. John McCain, the presidential nominee-to-be of the Republican Party.
Levi Johnston's appearance is as public a statement as possible that he plans to step up to the plate: The couple w
Barack Obama’s Camp Reacts To Sarah Palin’s RNC Speech
Democratic Presidential nominee Barack Obama's political campaign released a statement to ET, reacting to Sarah Palin's fiery VP acceptance speech made Wednesday night at the Republican National Convention.
Campaign spokesman Bill Burton released this statement to ET:
"The speech that Governor Palin gave was well delivered, but it was written by George Bush's speechwriter and sounds exactly like the same divisive, partisan attacks we've heard from George Bush for the last eight years. If Governor Pal
Palin: Obama's three responses
Sarah Palin's coming out party has changed the dynamics of the race--and while the maxim is that veep nominees don't alter the fundamental electoral equation, there is no doubt that Palin's speech Wednesday night in St. Paul has the Obama campaign revving up the Payback Machine.
Here are some of the things it's doing:
1) Immediate comment. Last night, the campaign sent out this statement from spokesman Bill Burton:

POLITICS: SARAH PALIN’S RNC SPEECH
Presidential candidate John McCain, 72, is the first Republican to share the ticket with a woman and only the second presidential candidate from a major party to do so.
With all the recent media attention surrounding her, Palin told the RNC she is not going to Washington to seek the approval of the media but rather to “serve the people of this country”.

Sarah Palin’s Baby Talk
A little slow at the beginning, but a very strong speech, well-delivered. It’s as if she’s done this speechmaking thing before. The crowd is certainly behind her, and the fiance is on the stage with the whole family—and with John McCain. It’s like they’re taunting the press and the Democrats to go on with the baby-talk. As I’ve said, I don’t think they believe this hurts them.
Sarah Palin is hard to dislike…

Who is Supporting Sarah Palin Even More Than McCain?
Subversive use of advertising dollars to draw the connection between the Alaskan governor and the black gold under her feet, or just a poorly executed design mishap?
Put your answer in the basket along with two dollars for the Yikes toll, then just drive on through.

Janice Min Insists Jann Wenner Isn't Plotting to Take Down McCain
This week's Us Weekly took aim at Sarah Palin, turning her maybe-controversies into full-blown scandals. The questioning over whether her fifth child is actually her grandchild; her husband's DUI; the investigation about the attempted firing of her former brother-in-law — all wrapped together it became Janice Min's "Babies, Lies & Scandal" cover. And taken with Us' prO-bama cover, as well as owner Jann Wenner's donations to the Obama campaign and his repeatedly
McCain Threatens Legal Action Over Palin "Rumors"
As we all saw in the case of John Edwards, which we followed quite vocally, if theNational Enquirer is on to something they're like a pitbull that's bitten into a leg — you can't shake it off!
And, whether or you liked their tactics or not, the Enquirer DID reveal the truth in the Edwards mistress case, although they're not always right.
The tabloid has asserted that Alaska's lipstick wearing pitbull of a governor allegedly had an affair with her snowmobile racing husband's business partner.

Fake Empire (Ad for Obama Camaign) (Video)
John McCain may have the little dude from Big & Rich in his back pocket, but Obama has always had the market cornered on cool musician celebrity endorsers: Bob Dylan, Wilco, Cool Kids, Ludacris, and, uh, Toby Keith. The National have joined the cool kids (the only scheduled pun for this post) in endorsing Obama, at least musically, as an instrumental verson of their song “Fake Empire” was used as background music to an Obama campaign ad in Colorado during the run-up to the Democratic Party c
Liveblogging Famous Historical War Leader Sarah Palin at the RNC
Guess who hasn’t been mentioned at all tonight? America’s favorite president, George W. Bush Junior! It’s as if Republicans haven’t held the White House for the past eight years. Who can remember that far back? So let’s welcome the new Geraldine Ferraro, “Barracuda Sarah” Palin — her own sister just called her that, on CNN — as she squeaks through a speech destined to give John McCain the SURGE he needs to finish this campaign as a complete sell-out lose

Oprah! In final talks! To be on 30 Rock! She'll play herself in scenes with Tina Fey's character Liz Lemon. Will Arnett and Jennifer Aniston are also making appearances on the show this fall. Sarah Palin's Speech: Full Of LIES!
The Associated Press closely watched Governor Sarah Palin, the GOP's VP pick, at last night's RNC convention and has outlined the many ways she exaggerated and lied.
Right or Left, a lie is a lie. It doesn't matter where on the political spectrum you are, right?
These are not 'personal' digs, mind you.
She's lying on the 'professional' stage, y'all.

Sarah Palin Questions Obama's Experience At Republican National Convention
ST. PAUL, Minnesota — A week ago, Alaska Governor Sarah Palin was barely a blip on the national political map. But with one biting address to the Republican National Convention Wednesday night, Palin rose above the din surrounding her low profile and emerged as one of the new stars of the Republican Party.
On Tuesday night, President Bush praised presumptive Republican presidential candidate John McCain as a maverick unafraid to go his own way and who makes decisions that don't toe any part
Palin Had Affair, Says Enquirer
Just as Sarah Palin was preparing to speak at the Republican convention in St. Paul (more on that momentarily), word bubbled up that the National Enquirer alleged in its print edition that John McCain's running mate had an affair with a business partner to her husband. With the sensational charge, the supermarket tabloid is gambling the measure of respect it has earned from more buttoned-down media in the wake of its reporting on John Edwards's affair with a campaign staffer, which was partially admitted to

Sarah Palin: I'm a Pit Bull in Lipstick
Sarah Palin put on a brave face, amidst family drama, as she delivered a rousing speech at Wednesday's GOP convention, slamming Barack Obama and billing herself as a Washington outsider.
Dubbing herself "an average hockey mom," she joked, "You know what they say the difference is between a hockey mom and a pit bull? Lipstick!"
Blasting Obama's background as a Chicago community organizer, the two-year governor of Alaska said, "I guess a small-town mayor is sort of like a 'community organizer,' except that

With rousing convention speech, Palin becomes a force in McCain candidacy
Normally, vice-presidential nominees don’t end up swinging the outcome of a presidential race, political scientists like to say. It’s the top of the ticket that nearly all voters base their decisions on. But this is a year in which a running mate – Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, the No. 2 to GOP nominee John McCain – could make a difference.
She has burst onto the national stage with such force, casting Senator McCain in a whole new light, that most engaged voters can’t help but have an opi
