Robert Carlyle has rubbished reports he's to be the next Doctor Who.
Current Time Lord David Tennant, 36, is rumoured to be leaving the BBC show in 2009.
And The Full Monty star's name has been bandied about as a replacement.
But Robert, 46, firmly denies it. 'Nobody has been in touch with me about Doctor Who,' he tells the Radio Times.

The Grammy-winning singer has been cast as Saraghina in "Nine," a big-screen adaptation of the Tony-winning musical. She will perform the saucy song "Be Italian" with Guido, played by Daniel Day-Lewis.

New "Heroes" Season 3 Promo!
This new promo shot for the upcoming third season of "Heroes" looks pretty darn cool if you ask me - love that Sylar's (Zachary Quinto) in the foreground and cradling an orb of light. Apparently that a new power of his - perfect for raving.
But there are a few things I need to discuss: first and funniest is the stance Ando (James Kyson Lee) is striking on the bottom left. What is that, his action figure pose? And since when was he so big on the fisticuffs?
