Mark Wahlberg Disses SNL
Did you happen to catch the Saturday Night Live skit called "Mark Wahlberg Talks To Animals" that aired on October 4th? In the sketch, comedian Andy Samberg plays Mark Wahlberg and proceeds to have a conversation with a dog, a goat, a chicken and a donkey.
Mark recently did an interview for the NY Post and the topic came up. Let's just say he wasn't a fan of the little routine. "Someone showed it to me on YouTube. It wasn't like Tina Fey doing Sarah Palin, that's for sure. And Saturday Night Live hasn't

Mark Wahlberg has his panties in a bunch over a Saturday Night Live sketch from last week called "Mark Wahlberg Talks to Animals." It features Andy Samberg playing Mark as he introduces himself to barnyard animals. Unfortunately, Marky Mark hated it so much that not only does he never want to host SNL, but he wishes Joe Piscopo was still on it. Whoa! Jesus. Let's not say things we can't take back. The New York Post reports:

Mark Wahlberg Thinks 'SNL' And Their Stupid Impression Of Him Can Suck It [Mockery]
newVideoPlayer("/markw_def.flv", 506, 423,""); While we found Andy Samberg's SNL impression of Mark Wahlberg as a sort of less-successful Dr. Doolittle overly preoccupied with sending his regards to farm animals' mothers to be flat out hilarious, not everyone was as amused. For starters, there was Wahlberg himself, who was asked about the sketch several times on the Max Payne interview circuit. In the audio clip above, set to a series of modeling shots and film stills by Defamer videographer Molly McAleer,

Mark Wahlberg not happy about Saturday Night Live parody skit
Saturday Night Live did a parody last weekend of the show Mark Wahlberg produces, Entourage, featuring Andy Samberg talking to a bunch of animals in the style of the characters on the HBO series. Samberg did a near perfect imitation of Wahlberg asking the animals how they were doing and telling them to say hi to their mothers for him. It was pretty funny for the first few animals, and kind of a surreal concept, but they dragged it out for just a little too long as is typical on SNL.

Mark Wahlberg Concerned Aronofsky's The Fighter Might Not Happen
A slew of updates have arrived today on Darren Aronofsky's boxing project The Fighter. ComingSoon caught up with Mark Wahlberg this weekend, who was out promoting Max Payne, and heard some rather unnerving news. Additionally, The Playlist reported back with some brief quotes from Aronofsky at the New York Film Festival. Both updates seem seem to reveal that the project is having a bit of pre-production trouble, potentially with its financing and casting. Wahlberg specifically mentioned during interviews yes
Mark Wahlberg wants to hide his musical past from his children.
Mark Wahlberg has vowed never to return to his musical roots. Mark Wahlberg first rose to fame as a rapper after his 1991 debut with Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch.
He says: “I just felt like I wanted to do music early on and then when I started acting I had to wait until I could do another record anyway. And two or three records in I really felt like I had found my niche.” Mark also admits he’s desperate to hide his embarrassing musical past from his three young children.
He adds, “Iâ

The Fighter: Pitt Out; Wahlberg Worried; Location Scouting
It’s been a while since we’ve gotten a concrete update on Darren Aronofsky’s The Fighter, the real-life story of boxer “Irish” Micky Ward’s (to be played by Mark Wahlberg) unlikely road to the world lightweight title. His Rocky-like rise was guided by half-brother Dicky (Brad Pitt), a boxer-turned-trainer who rebounded in life after nearly being KO’d by drugs and crime. When we talked with director Darren Aronofsky last month, we got the impression that The Fighter

Wahlberg says Aronofsky's Fighter on the ropes
Mark Wahlberg has been talking about his continuing preparation for Darren Aronofsky's film The Fighter, a film that was to co-star Brad Pitt. I say was because today the news comes that Brad Pitt has backed out of the film too.
The film has struggled for a lead, Matt Damon was originally up for the role and departed, and this is now the second time that Pitt has backed out of an Aronofsky film. Things aren't looking good, especially when you hear how Wahlberg is talking about the production.
