“Live long and prosper” - Extended STAR TREK trailer featuring Leonard Nimoy!

Star Trek: Don’t ask me why this wasn’t included in the first place because I really don’t know (though I can speculate it’s because J.J. Abrams is worried an appearance from Nimoy, a cornerstone of the whole idea of Trek, would turn non-fans instantly off) but I’m glad to have it anyway. AICN have an extended trailer for Star Trek which has the first look at Leonard Nimoy as Mr. Spock. CLICK HERE TO SEE THE TRAILER Paramount Pictures insist this is an online only trailer, a pure gift to the fans at Thanksgiving. Kinda feels a little more like Trek now.

'Wolverine' Trailer! ...News. Trailer News.
Fox has confirmed that the first trailer for Wolverine, the movie about the claw X-Man, will be attached to The Day the Earth Stood Still, to be released December 12. According to Coming Soon, "The trailer will be exclusively available in theaters and will not debut online or on TV until some time later," so it sounds like if you want to see the trailer on the 12th, you're just going to have to go to theaters and ask whoever is recording it with their phone what title they plan to use to hide it on YouTube.

'Whatever Works' Shots Make Chess Uncomfortably Neurotic
Voir.ca has the first production photos to emerge from the supernova of neuroses that is Whatever Works, Woody Allen's latest that stars Larry David and Evan Rachel Wood. Is anyone else excited about the natural pairing of Allen and David? I'm really looking forward to this, despite knowing I'll be humming the Curb Your Enthusiasm theme as a Pavlovian response to every scene change. Two more under the cut. (Thanks for the tip, Kevin.) New Star Trek Trailer With Mr. Spock
Here’s a new extended version of the Star Trek trailer I posted last week. It’s practically identical except for one small factor… Leonard Nimoy shows up at the end as an older Mr. Spock! Damn cool if you ask me. Star Trek hits theatres May 8th, 2009.

Star Trek: The Next Generation
Created by the figure behind the Star Trek franchise Gene Roddenberry, Star Trek: The Next Generation is a sci-fi series set in the 24th century around a century after the orginial Star Trek. It premiered in September 28, 1987 to some 27 million viewers and ran for 178 episodes, the longest Star Trek show in the series. It went off air the week of May 23, 1994. While Star Trek: The Next Generation already had a large following during its first run, it remains to be popular in syndication. Along with Star

Geeky: New 'Star Trek' Trailer and Flash 'Terminator: Salvation' Poster!
A new trailer for J.J. Abrams' Star Trek has just debuted over at AICN, but be warned that it's exactly like the other trailer save for one particular scene that comes right at the end. Yup, I won't tell you exactly what happens, but one look at the image above and you can imagine what you'll see. This particular scene was part of the four Cinematical screened last week, and it takes place on the icy planet where Kirk (Chris Pine) gets sent to. It's there where he meets an older version of Spock (played by

Leonard Nimoy Appears in New ‘Star Trek’ Trailer
Ain’t It Cool News got their hands on a new version of the previous Star Trek trailer in what I can only assume will be an Internet only version and this time the special treat is our first look at Leonard Nimoy as Spock in the final moments. And as you can see from the screen capture above he looks just like… Leonard Nimoy. You can check the trailer out in all kinds of high-definition QuickTime right here. For a larger look at the screen capture above click here or on the pic.

First Look: Leonard Nimoy as Old Spock in JJ Abrams’ Star Trek
AICN has an exclusive slightly remixed version of the Star Trek trailer. The huge difference is the addition of Leonard Nimoy as Old Spock, making his first big screen appearance as the character since 1991. How very epic! You can watch the three second clip below, but head on over to AICN to see the reedited trailer in High Definition with a couple little changes. Get the latest Flash Player to see this player. Leonard Nimoy Wishes You Long Life, Prosperity
It's (original) Spock! AICN has a new Star Trek trailer that tacks the additional shot on the end, giving a first look at Leonard Nimoy in the film. Has word leaked on why Nimoy is in this, or at least if time travel is involved? Tell me it's not more time travel. I'll accept it in the name of whale preservation, but they cannot keep using this plot device. I do not want to see Spock to find himself in a time portal again. I do, however, want to see him find himself here. Comments (6) Digg Reddit

Sex in J.J. Abrams’ ‘Star Trek’? Chris Pine, Rachel Nichols, Zoe Saldana Engage Full-Speed Ahead
CHICAGO– While “sex” and “Star Trek” typically aren’t found together in the same sentence, we learned this week from the official trailer for the new J.J. Abrams film that he’s clearly acquainting one with the other. But there’s more.Chris Pine, who stars as the new (young) Captain Kirk, went so far as to tell Marc Malkin of E! That 25 Minutes Of 'Star Trek XI' Footage...
Faithful readers of DHD know I don't do geek. And this is not yet another site that reviews movies badly. Instead, we do the biz of the biz here. So, with that in mind, I asked my geek expert Luke Y Thompson to attend today's unveiling by J.J. Abrams of 25 minutes of Star Trek XI footage for opinion-makers. Here are his thoughts on whether the stale franchise can be freshened to add to Paramount's bottom line. SPOILER ALERT. SPOILER ALERT. SPOILER ALERT:  I have, like many fans, been very skeptical ab

In Love With Star Trek - My Full Reaction to J.J. Abrams' Presentation!
Live long and prosper. Those few words, unlike the lack of "Bond, James Bond" in Quantum of Solace, are uttered by Leonard Nimoy himself in J.J. Abrams' Star Trek. Their inclusion is only one of so many elements that keeps this newest Star Trek true to its roots. Yesterday I was lucky enough to attend Paramount's final Star Trek special presentation in Los Angeles. Abrams himself was on hand to introduce 20 minutes of footage, comprised within 4 scenes, to a large audience of fans and filmmakers alike on th

Abrams on Shatner and Star Trek
William Shatner hasn't kept quiet on his exclusion from J.J. Abrams new Star Trek film. Now J.J. Abrams has cleared up the situation, and explained why it didn't work out. Turns out there was a scene written, but it was never filmed. Looks like the events of the previous films, and Shatner's reluctance to make a cameo appearance are to blame. Ever since J.J. Abrams started work on Star Trek, the question of whether William Shatner and Leonard Nimoy would appear has been the
