Kirsten Dunst Says She’s “In” For “Spider-Man 4″
You can’t exactly call it an official confirmation, but when asked by MTV about her Spider-Man 4 status, Kirsten Dunst said, “I’m in.”
She quickly back-tracked on that though, telling them, “I’m not saying anything, I know there’s rumors…” Those rumors, of course, being fueled by fans less than satisfied with the actress’ less-than-impressive Mary Jane. Still, the Internet spit out a lot of hate for Tobey Maguire and Sam Raimi too, and look what those guys ended
Kirsten Dunst is "In" for 'Spider-Man 4'...Or is She?
A quick show of hands: Who really cares if
Kirsten Dunst
comes back for
Spider-Man 4? Personally, I was done with her
somewhere in the middle of Spidey 2, and I thought she was outclassed by
Bryce Dallas
Howard's Gwen Stacy in the miserable third installment.
But with
Sam Raimi and
Tobey Maguire
back on board, the question does seem rather natural. So when Dunst reported to
MTV
that, "I'm in," that obviously meant she'd have to field follow-ups, which she
refused to do.

Watch Kirsten Dunst & Simon Pegg Discuss ‘Spider-Man 4’ Villians And Siblings
On Monday, we reported that Kirsten Dunst told us — with Tobey Maguire and Sam Raimi officially signed-up — that we could also count her “in” for reprising her role as Mary Jane in the “Spider-Man” franchise.
But that wasn’t the only Spidey talk during our chat. In the full exchange below, watch Simon Pegg throw his hat into the ring as a possible guest-sibling, a discussion of villains (despite some difficulty with character names), and Dunst revealing her favorit

Kirsten Dunst Confirms Her Return In Spider-Man 4 & 5
Kirsten Dunst knows just how to ruin my day. A few weeks ago we heard about the deal to pay Tobey Maguire a massive $50 million for his return in Spider-man 4 & 5. That news was paired with the confirmation that director Sam Raimi would return for the back-to-back filming. The one lead missing was that of Kirsten Dunst as Mary Jane.
MTV got to the issue when they quizzed her on the possibility of seeing her Snaggletooth smile sharing the screen with a webslinger again:
“I’m in,” said the
Kirsten Dunst In For Spider Man 4?
Kirsten Dunst has made it no secret that she was never really interested in doing more than Spider Man 3. Of course this was all because Sam Raimi and Tobey Maguire at the time were saying the exact same thing. Well guess what? They are all back and will be making a pretty penny I might add. So what does Dunst have to say now?
"I'm in," is what she told MTV while she was out promoting her new movie How to Lose Friends and Alienate People. But when she was pressed to make an official announcement she

Kirsten Dunst Says She’s “In” For Spider-Man 4
When MTV asked Kirsten Dunst if she would be returning for Spider-Man 4, the actress responded “I’m in.” Which sounds like a done deal if you ask me. But when pressed if she officially signed on to return, the actress changed her tone, “I’m not saying anything, I know there’s rumors…”
This is certainly a change in tone from last year when Dunst was expressing disinterest in returning for more sequels, insisting she wouldn’t even consider the possibility if Sam Raimi and Tobey Maguire we
Kirsten Dunst Talks Spider-Man 4, - So Is She In Or Out?
For quite some time now, “Spider-Man” star Kirsten Dunst has had one major condition as to whether or not she’d sign-up for any future sequels of the franchise — that director Sam Raimi and co-star Tobey Maguire be signed on as well.
Well, now that the news has broken that both Raimi and Maguire have signed back on for a fourth and fifth installment – with a hefty paycheck attached as well — MTV News posed the big question to Dunst while she was promoting her upcoming film, “How to Lose Fri
Dunst is "In" for More 'Spider-Man' in a Completely Unofficial Capacity
For nearly a month, Sam Raimi and Tobey Maguire have had their arms stretched to a center point, their hands overlapping, their eyes expectedly affixed on co-star Kirsten Dunst. Would she pile her hand into the center, say "I'm in" for a couple more Spider-Man movies, then do that thing where everyone in the hand-pile throws their hands up and cheers? She totally did, dudes! From MTV:
“I’m in,” said [Dunst] matter of factly.
Yessss! The old gang is back! Except that she quickly backtracked:

Thou has Thor, if thou hast Thor...Photo: Getty ImagesEntire Internet Says WTF: Sorry D.J. Caruso, but it looks like you might not get to cast Shia LaBeouf in Thor, because that dubious honor belongs to, uh, Kenneth Branagh? Best known for directing a bunch of Shakespeare (Hamlet, Henry V), and best loved by us for helming 1991's Dead Again, he seems like an odd choice who pretty much guarantees the movie will be a historical epic. But is this really any stranger than studios plucking one-time indie di

It Ain't Over Yet - Kirsten Dunst Back for Spider-Man 4 and 5!
Am the only one who thought it was all over when Spider-Man 3 came out? I thought that there's no way everyone will come back and make another. Another ‘Evil Dead’ Movie? In 3D? A Musical?
Negotiations are underway between producer Don Carmody and Sam Raimi to bring ‘Evil Dead: The Musical’ to the big screen. The film will be shot in 3D to incorporate the “splatter zone” that was found in the original stage production.
The musical version of Raimi’s original film was initially devised by George Reinblatt, Christopher Bond, Frank Cipolla, and Melissa Morris. It was originally shown in Toronto but quickly moved to off-Broadway. It provided such songs as R

This puts to rest months of internet speculation that the next “Spider-Man” films may in fact be without the two. Maguire, Raimi Back For 'Spider-Man 4'?
Rumors have invaded the intertubes that Sony Pictures are closely signing Tobey Maguire and director Sam Raimi to take on Spider-Man 4.
Maguire and Raimi have been the duo for the past three Spider flicks--all of which received mixed reviews from the first film being good, transitioning to a stellar sequel, and turning into a down-right awkward third film. According to reports, the film's script written by Zodiac scribe Jamie Vanderbilt will stay true to Spidey's comical nature by avoiding the "dark&
Tobey Maguire: The $50 Million (Spider) Man!
